isPermaLink="false">http://theothermccain.com/?p=4919#comment-19101

DEConservative is wrong. The News Journal article, if anyone bothers to read it, was based on court documents, FEC reports, and interviews. That information did not come from Castle, it came from a Conservative blogger in Sussex County who saw red flags in her campaign finance report and started picking around in her past.
The first court document was when Dickenson College took O'Donnell to court and got a judgement against her because she never paid her college debts. Dickenson won a judgement against O'Donnell, and because of the debt, never gave her a degree. In 2006 and 2008 when O'Donnell ran for the Senate, she ran as a "graduate" of Dickenson, which was not the truth.
The second court document was from her mortgage company, they won a judgement against O'Donnell for not paying her mortgage. A few weeks before the Sheriff sale she sold the house to a campaign staffer that was also her boyfriend, with the understanding that she would buy it back. She never did.
The campaign staffer that was tossed from her announcement was not a liar. His name is David Keegan, and he was supposed to be a paid staffer. She coerced him into putting campaign expenses on his credit card and never reimbursed him, meanwhile she was paying her boyfriend for rent. Keegan shows up on her most recent campaign finance report as a debt from 2008. He managed to get her to acknowledge her debt to him but only for his expenses that put him over the legal limit for campaign contributions. The fact that he's on her FEC report proves he was not lying. Look up her latest report and he's there, twice.
He wasn't the only unpaid staffer.
As for her work history, The Passion was in 2004, that was 6 years ago. After that, she went to work for ISI, a conservative think tank in Delaware run by a former Reagan staffer. O'Donnell sued them for sexual discrimination, but then dropped the suit when ISI chose to fight her in the open instead of settling out of court.
None of O'Donnell's supporters know the name of her PR firm, and when you ask her, she doesn't answer. If you Google "The Passion of the Christ" and "Christine O'Donnell" the only references you get to her connection with the movie are her own claims. Mel Gibson seems to think that his own PR company did the promotional work for the movie.
She gave an interview to the Coastal Conservative Network where she said that if she got a job, she legally couldn't pay for her expenses out of campaign money.
She won't face the media. After her loss at the Convention she refused to answer questions. She refuses interviews unless they come from handpicked conservative bloggers. She will not answer questions from any of the media in Delaware. She accuses everyone of lying about her past, and when you show her the court documentation and her own FEC report she turns around and walks away, then tells her supporters that it's all "slander".
The majority of O'Donnell's support is out of state, where people don't know her track record in Delaware. Her in-state support is limited to a handful of bloggers with no credibility and no traffic. Those bloggers have set up numerous pro-O'Donnell blogs under various names to make it appear like she has more support than she actually does. Outside of that small cabal of bloggers, she doesn't have much in Delaware.
In 2008, the State Party twisted the arms of every GOP campaign in the state to support O'Donnell and invite her to events. Every campaign pitched in to help O'Donnell. They even invited her to their major fundraisers and helped her raise money. Then in the end, her thanks was to whine that the State Party didn't support her. I can tell you that she has lost the support of the grassroots, the people doing the work on the ground, when her quotes hit the local papers.
Mike Castle is certainly NOT the Republican of my choice for the Senate, but the bottom line is that there really is no alternative. Please stop forcing this unelectable trainwreck on us good, hard working, Delaware Republicans.

DEConservative is wrong. isPermaLink="false">http://theothermccain.com/?p=4919#comment-13450

You might be interested to know that the News Journal article these minions were posting was fodder directly from the Castle campaign. In fact, every bit of it was a lie and the News Journal did no fact checking before writing it. The story was hand fed to the eager beaver, in the tank "reporters" at the local liberal media bastion. The guys and gals over at the Gannett paper here in New Castle were foaming at the mouth when Priscilla Rakestraw (Delaware's GOP National Committeewoman)showed up with a prefab story about Ms. O'Donnell. Once they saw the juice and realized it could put her away for good, they quickly copied and pasted it into the morning edition.
One problem, not a word was true. Well, with one exception, they spelled her name correctly...but that's it. Rumors of an FEC investigation were false (unlike the local liberal lunatic lackey at the good old "News Journal" I did a little digging of my own and found out that Christine in fact did miss a filing deadline or two but complied quickly with FEC letters asking her to report in. The fabricated story about "an unpaid campaign staffer" was brought by a former campaign VOLUNTEER who is now tied to the Castle campaign (and by tied I mean drives around with a Mike Castle bumper sticker and is probably sitting on a block of ice for King Castle's amusement as we speak). Said volunteer already bilked money from the campaign, engaged in a weak attempt at bribery AND is related to Ms. O'Donnell's ex. Any discerning and objective individual can extrapolate that the poor old man bringing these allegations is nothing more than a two bit punk out to bludgeon Christine with lies.
Further, the supposed tax lein on Ms. O'Donnell turned out to be an error at the IRS...(the retraction hasn't yet been printed but we're hopeful that there is a heartbeat and a conscience at the N.J.) At any rate, Ms. O'Donnell has been a long time P.R. and media relations expert who has worked on behalf of Mel Gibson during "The Passion of Christ" and other more recent movies. In fact, her last gig ended when she decided to run for office in 2010. I'm not at liberty to discuss it (nor should it matter, her '08 campaign debt is taken care of in compliance with the FEC regs and she isn't subsisting herself off campaign funds...but if she were, as long as her supporters knew that since she wasn't able to work AND campaign and since she wasn't a millionaire...what difference would THAT make...) but suffice to say that Ms. O'Donnell works PLENTY thank you very much.
In this case, truth is not stranger than fiction. The Delaware GOP is working hard to destroy her but fortunately they are as bad at making up lies about people as they are at winning elections. Tom Ross, Priscilla Rakestraw, Mike Stafford, Mike Castle, etc. are the lowest form of living scum there is and sadly they are stopping below at to the microfungal level. I'm really concerned that these.."people" might find themselves sent directly to Hell without a pardon if they continue to be such evil people.
You want to know how much of a threat Ms. O'Donnell "isn't"? Mike Castle, King COngressman from the great State of Delaware...the man who THE WHOLE STATE apparently adores (or tolerates) can't bring himself to debate her. It could be because everytime he opens that crooked mouth to talk he says something like "Congress is past the Constitution..." or "I'm against repealing the healthcare bill." In fact, Congresman Castle is SO afraid of Christine that when they were invited to a Newark Region Meeting last week Congressman Castle sent his lackey Jeff Dayton to actually give the Castle campaign speech. We were told that the Congressman cared very much about what we thought. I was stunned when I asked were Congressman Castle was if he "cared so much" and the reply was "He's voting." This was at nearly 8PM...so I did some lookin and...I know this is strange...but it looks like the session was adjourned at 6:35 PM in D.C. The train station is minutes away and guess what, the train would have arrived in Newark, DE at 7:45PM. Now, if that weren't bad enough I found out that actually, only the floor speakers were evern IN the Capital at 6:30PM because "legislative business" had been suspended at 3:30PM which means that the good Congressman who cares so much, sat in D.C. for 3 hours and 15 mins with no HOPE to vote for anything all night long.

You want to know how much of a threat Ms. O'Donnell "isn't"? It could be because everytime he opens that crooked mouth to talk he says something like "Congress is past the Constitution..." or "I'm against repealing the healthcare bill." In fact, Congresman Castle is SO afraid of Christine that when they were invited to a Newark Region Meeting last week Congressman Castle sent his lackey Jeff Dayton to actually give the Castle campaign speech.
