    Damn, Chris.

Make it stop, for the love of God, please, make it stop. I beseech thee.

This is off topic, but since I no longer do my own blog, I thought I would let you and your readers know about some news this way. The 200th episode of South Park featured a (non)depiction of the prophet Mohammed in a bear costume. The whole point of the episode was showing how fear of offending Muslims has created a situation where Mohammed and the religion of Islam are completely insolated from anyone making fun of them or even mentioning them in a potentially negative way. Demonstrating their firm grasp of the ironic, an Islamic website has warned the creators of South Park that the wages of depicting Mohammed in a bear suit are death. Thought you might find this interesting.

  • The Ironic Mohammedan

Fortunately, Chance, the wages of telling people via a blog comment about a South Park cartoon in which Mohammed is (non)depicted in a bear suit is merely having your hands chopped off. Congratulations, you lucked out!

Are they available for weddings and other social events? Reminds me of a wedding I went to in Johnstown, PA once. Polka, whisky and iron city beer. Good times. Good times.

Since my first viewing of Plan 9 from Outer Space, I have been a helpless addict of low camp.

This video sets a glorious new standard. Bless you, Smitty.

I had a hard time not laughing at them. Having lived in Germany I can attest that such things are funny from both sides. A jam session involving Germans and GIs (and copious quantities of dark, golden brew) usually involved doing songs that were hits among the other group. It was funny listening to some half soused GI sing “Drei, Drei, Drei am der Telefon,” even for the GIs.
