Via IsraellyCool, we have this gem:

While most people know about the ‘farmer tan’ on the arm, many don’t know that the parade field at a Navy boot camp is called a ‘grinder’. You get shaved bald, and walk around in the sun a few hours, and the result, for those of European extraction, is a ‘grinder reminder’.
Go, Navy!
