Pro-Fellatio Coalition to Gather in Boston

Posted on | September 23, 2010 | 27 Comments

Bill Clinton will campaign Sunday for Barney Frank and never have two more famously fervent advocates of oral sex shared a stage at a political event — not even in Boston!

And what is the occasion for this Bill and Barney reunion?

Well, you see, back in January, a guy named Scott Brown got himself elected to the Senate, and suddenly Massachusetts Democrats realized that maybe taxpayers were serious about this “tea party” stuff. And Barney is obviously afraid that his bloated, saggy self might be rejected in favor of a handsome young Marine named Sean Bielat:

Hoping to turn a weekend campaign appearance by Bill Clinton on behalf of Barney Frank to his own advantage, Republican congressional candidate Sean Bielat is pointing to the former president’s arrival as a sign that the race is tightening.
“He wouldn’t be bringing in Bill Clinton if he weren’t in the position he is right now,’’ Bielat said. . . .
Bielat, who is furiously trying to nationalize a race long considered a reach for Republicans, is hoping the visit helps demonstrate to GOP donors around the country that he is mounting a credible campaign against Frank. A 35-year-old ex-Marine from Brookline, Bielat won the Republican primary last week. . . .
Frank’s campaign had more than $1 million on hand through the last week of August. . . .
Lisa J. Barstow, Bielat’s communications director, said he had about 700 to 800 volunteers. He is also running ads on radio and the Internet.
Bielat had raised $232,000 through Aug. 25. The campaign says the pace of its fund-raising has picked up in September, though aides did not have an updated total. . . .
Tory Mazzola, Northeast regional spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee, said it was too early to make funding decisions, but that the party was keeping its eye on the race.
“Sean Bielat is running a great campaign and I think he’s proving momentum is behind him,’’ Mazzola said.

The Republican challenger has certainly stirred up a storm of interest in his campaign. Too bad the Bielat campaign rejected my idea for a bumper-sticker slogan: “Barney Sucks.”

SEAN BIELAT for U.S. CONGRESS

UPDATE: Of course, my Bielat slogan suggestion wasn’t the only one rejected by the campaign staff:

Sean Bielat For Congress
When he’s not killing terrorists,
he’s building fuckin’ robots.

That was suggested by Ace of Spades, who will probably get so excited about the latest Bielat campaign internal poll, he won’t notice if I borrow another shtick from him.

The only way this could get worse if Barney and Bill decided to service each other at the event.

    I suspect Barney is willing.

I know you’re trying to be witty, but using “Pro-Fellatio” as a pejorative is just plain stupid.

It’s like using “Liberal” as a compliment.

Perhaps he means “pro,” not in the sense of “in favor of,” but in the sense of “managed to make a buck off.”

    Joe..

A mouth is a mouth, know what I’m saying?

“Any port in a storm” and you have me pegged.

Besides, I’ll have the lights off anyway.

What else would you expect from a guy whose initials are “BJ”?

Sean is within 10 points of Barney on internal polling, and Barney has dropped below 50%.

In case it was not clear enough: if you are in Massachusetts on Sunday, PLEASE show up to Taunton Green at 2 pm with your home-made Sean sign. When Obama came to Northeastern, we covered the streets with “The People’s Seat” signs, and we’re trying to give Barney the same reception. Go, Sean!

Frank’s district is a gerrymandered monstrosity: http://tinyurl.com/yzugb6q . About half the population is in the narrow top, Boston suburbs with typical upper-middle college professor and urban professionals, they will be there for Frank if they bother to show up at all. The Elite take care of their own until they are ready to discard them.

The lower half, down to New Bedford, is more blue collar, working class. Now, they have mostly been lifelong Democrats, and the last Republican who really attracted them was Reagan. But they are being impacted by all this economic nonsense the Pelosi-Reid Congress and President Peacock have put forth, so may be ready to show Barney the back door. Figuratively, I mean.

Mr. Clinton’s type tends toward the pudgy brunette with just a touch too much make-up and some noticeable cleavage, so Barney would need several hours in wardrobe to catch his eye.

I see no reason to destroy the dreams of all those young leftist sluts who want to “thank” him for fighting for their right to kill their babies.

    Right, Y4E?

If there’s ever a reason to “hit the damned tip jar” for someone other than Stacy McCain, this is it.

To stick with the metaphor, O’Donnell and Angle have been sucking up the national donations because they are in tight, winnable races. Sean is within striking distance (<10%)and he needs our help.

Don't blow this opportunity…another term for Barney will be tough to swallow. (I could go on, but I'll spare you the Quagmire-esque rant.)
