Congratulations, Ed Schultz!

MSNBC’s angry gasbag has been awarded “Quote of the Year” in the annual Dishonor Awards, in which the Media Research Center recognizes the very worst in liberal media bias:

“The Republicans lie! They want to see you dead! They’d rather make money off your dead corpse! They kind of like it when that woman has cancer and they don’t have anything for her.”

I’m sure I’ve said this before, but doesn’t Ed Schultz remind you of the kind of mean drunk that gets thrown out of a bar for slapping around a cocktail waitress? He’s just such an unhappy, angry person. I guess the MSNBC target audience can really relate to hm, though.

Speaking of MSNBC, the sexist cheapskates at the network were originally paying Mika Brzezinski 1/14th of Joe Scarborough’s salary. And it is reported that MSNBC staffers aren’t exactly eager to join Keith Olbermann’s new show at Current TV. Yeah, it’s like being invited to join Hitler in his bunker with the Red Army closing in.

    Yeah, well screw you both. I am going to be at Lucky Strike Bowling in D.C. tonight (I like to have a few beers and hit on the broads that go there for the Ladies League). Most of them are dykes, which I can tell when they don’t go for me and my celebrity status and natural good looks. Still, occasionally I get a strike or spare.

    Schultz makes me long for the days when stations simply showed test patterns when they had nothing better to broadcast. Clearly, it is an option MSNBC should consider, if just for the increased ratings alone.
