Having a little guy sleep on your chest like that is a special thing.  Mine are too big for that now.

  • Dell Hill

Actually, what you’re seeing here is the Admiral and the WYB absorbing every word of the Bloomberg debate!  A totally accurate, concise report will immediately follow the telecast.

The is no greater peace or joy than when father and son find unity of purpose.

….And they’re probably both thinking about the exact same thing!

Babies have a way of teaching you the value of napping.

When my granddaughters were older and visiting, they started complaining about nap time.  “We’re big now, we don’t need a nap!”

“I know.  But I need one!”

Tad younger for a grandpa, tad older for a first-time dad, how sad.

    Cute kid though.

I have a picture like this with my son. I cherish the picture, and the memory. Lord, he’ll be 7 in a month. That’s not possible!

    Way cool, dude!

  • FenelonSpoke

Absolutely adorable! I’m really enjoying these young blogger  pictures. That is a great feeling having a baby sleep on your chest.

The daddy and baby sleeping pics are some of my favorites.  Cherish it, it won’t be long before he is too big for that anymore.

I know the feeling, mine just passed 8 & 10. Only just last week they were as big as Smitty Jr…

I have a policy of not interacting with trolls which I will break this one time to ask…what the hell is wrong with you?

  • Anonymous

Unfortunately it regains conciousness from time to time, the above is it’s idea of interaction.

  • Quartermaster

    Wait’ll he’s 33, like mine. :-)

  • Quartermaster

    That’s not a troll. That’s a zombie.

You don’t have to wear the brown Tshirt anymore.

Awww!!!!!!!!! I miss having cuddle babies, mine are 4 & 6 now, and they hardly ever sleep, they certainly don’t snuggle with me for naps anymore. But that’s why we have cats.

Itty-Bitty Smitty:  Not very nutritious, but he lays still…

Is it just me, or is the little dude growing like kudzu?

  • http://theothermccain.com smitty

Yeah, at almost three months, he’s pushing 15 pounds.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1385852725 Richard Mcenroe

It’s gonna be years before he gets rid of them.  I wore mine out; white just felt weird.

That is absolutely adorable. My two who used to sleep like that are now 20-something adults but the memories are still sweet….
