John Edwards Is Now Non-Partisan

Michael Beisecker’s Associated Press story about Thursday’s proceedings in the federal corruption trial of former presidential candidate John Edwards was 504 words long.

“Democrat” was not one of those words.

Just once, I wish someone at that trial, preferably Rielle Hunter, would get up on the stand and say in a firm, honest voice, “Frankly, I think he’s basically nothing but a little faggot.”

My first reaction was, “You’re kidding me!”

Then I read the article, and by George, not a single “Democrat” was uttered, not in the most dulcet of tones.

    Let’s play, “Name that party!”

While this may be true as denigration – he is, after all, morally flabby, degenerate, cowardly and dishonest (and most ‘faggots’ I’ve known are none of these things) – I am fairly certain that the last person on the planet able to recognize such attributes is Ms. Hunter.

Or didn’t you notice her behavior?

She should recognize them, I’m sure she’s spent more than her fair share of time around them. Take it from me, you don’t spend any appreciable time around New Age people without running into more than a few of them.

It just KILLS them to admit corruption in the Democratic Party.  Through bloggers and now Twitter and other social media, we are able to not only correct the record quickly, but to mock them unmercifully for the obvious habit of getting a miscreant’s Republican ID into the headline or lead paragraph, but not being able to mention Democratic affiliation until the 15th graf or later, after the jump in stories they have to put on page one.

By now, they have to know we are on to it, but they just can’t help themselves.  They cannot bear to admit their own corruption (for by now whatever line ever existed in the last 30 years between the media and the Democrats has long since been erased).

    -That line was an illusion.

-I think they still keep up the habit because they’re aiming to fool the only-occasionaly-paying-attention type – and they do vote sometimes, when it doesn’t interfere with their Lush Lives.
