Separated At Birth? Obama/Dilbert Edition

Some will say that this comparison grossly disadvantages Dilbert; others, that the Pointy Haired Boss makes the more accurate juxtaposition. But I say “Hey: posts are where you find them.”

Shoulda stayed in Chicago Shoulda worn a bow

Another fine outing from The Political Clown Parade.

Obama is more of the pointy-haired boss than Dilbert.

Yup.  At least Dilbert acknowledges problems in the system.

Actually, to me, Obama’s a composite…..of Wally and the pointy-haired boss.

Talking about finding the story by just looking for it.  Apparently penguins were so sexually depraved that early explorers did not want to mention it.  The young males would go after females dead for years (remember it is cold in antarctica), engaged in homosexuality, and rape anything they could.

Who knew penguins were democrats.  http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/06/09/sexual-depravity-of-penguins-that-antarctic-scientist-dared-not-reveal/

I agree.  But good writing is seeing parts of you (or humanity) in all the characters.  Obama certainly has the worse parts of a lot of them.

Obama seems much more like Dilbert’s bald-headed CEO to me.  When he wants a PHB-like distraction he sends Joe Biden.

Please don’t compare barky to a cartoon character. It is an insult. To the cartoon character

Dilbert is more of a victim of the system, whereas the system is the victim of Obama so they would be polar opposites.

I believe Obama is a composite:  he has the PHB’s incompetence and ignorance and dedication to micromanagement, Wally’s work ethic and concern for others, and Dogbert’s self-serving code of morality.

Wally’s career plan seems to closely resemble Obama’s, though:  http://tinyurl.com/7zcv8ke

You’ve nailed it Adj. Using Dilbert as a comparison is a serious libel against Dilbert. That Smitty would make that comparison is quite shocking.

Wally, at least, is honest about his career goals. He’s a tick and admits it. Obama is a tick spreading Lyme Disease, but he won’t admit it.
