As Long As We’re Viewing ObamaCare With Integrity, What About Social Security?

The main reason I figured the SCOTUS was going to find ObamaCare Constitutional was that punting it could open up challenges to the rest of the Progressive project, e.g. Social Security.

Progressivism is antithetical to liberty as we know it. The silver lining crew is attempting to find something good in the Thursday’s whuppin’. And you can re-fight it like a Civil War battle all you like. Whether or not history shows that Roberts gave us the Full Denton doesn’t matter: that’s the decision.

So, instead, let us prove ourselves an exceptional nation. Let’s muster all the patriotic attorneys general, and the great conservative legal minds, and set about saying that a tax is a tax; that godforsaken sacred cow Ponzi scheme known as Social Security is a tax, and send it to the butcher along with ObamaCare.

Who is with me?

I just watched an episode of “Star Trek” TOS: “Bread and Circuses.” That’s the one with the 20th-century Roman empire, and it was mentioned in passing that over time they pacified their slaves with Social Security and Medicare.

They didn’t call them that, but that’s what they were.

What’s the buyout number? Because after paying into the damn system all my working life, a 100% tax on the little money I might get back is not very appealing.

In reference to what I thought was a request on your June 28th 2012 post with the videeos of Rep. Michele Bachmann speaking. I am requesting a repost , an update of that post, or maybe email to me of these videos that have the crowd noise edited out, a complete word for word caption added to the videos or a complete transcript of what she said with videos attached. I cannot hear much of anything She is saying no thanks to the some of the rude and disrespectful people in the crowd. I apiogize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Not to be an Eeyore or anything, but I have sincere doubts that the Stupid Party has the nads to repeal Obamacare if they have a chance, much less do anything with Social Security.

Although watching all the leftie heads assplode when it might happen is something cool to dream about.

When I think about that 12% of my income that I could have saved and invested myself it makes me sick that I’ll probably never see any of it.  And I’m already in my 50’s.

You young whipper snappers are well and truly boned.

Frankly, I seriously doubt Mittens will ever see a repeal bill and I doubt he really wants to see one anyway, regardless of what he says.

It’s not just the young that are boned either. It includes those of us that are over 45 as well. ObamaRobertscare bones everyone.
