Democrats: Allen West Is Willie Horton!

Posted on | August 10, 2012 | 11 Comments

Remember when I said that Obama super-PAC ad had scraped all the way through the bottom of the barrel? Now Democrats are running an ad that shows Rep. Allen West beating up white women and stealing their money:

More at The Lonely Conservative and Legal Insurrection. What strikes me about this ad is how it is coordinated with President Obama’s message: It is no longer enough to say that Republicans advocate “tax cuts for the rich.” Now the Democrats actually accuse the GOP of wishing to raise taxes on the middle class. The Democrats’ blatant indifference to truth is frightening, as is the evidence that their lies are actually working.

Has it really come to this? Are the Democrats — who have spent the past four years telling us that every possible criticism of Obama is some kind of racist “dog whistle” — going to get away with portraying war hero Allen West as a violent thief?

Go give Allen West some money to fight back against the lies.

Allen West likes to hit Debbie Wasserman Shultz (rhetorically of course) but then again,  she is no lady!

I’m firmly of the opinion that Zer0 is gonna win re-election. It’s all about those low info voters.

Did you know she keeps several properties under the name Deborah Schultz to keep her ownership quiet?  Or that she and her husband have investments in venture capital firms and hold offshore bank accounts?

You’d think that with all her money she could afford a decent hair stylist, eh?

Well, they are his only chance.  Unfortunately for him, even those often have a sense of what’s happening in the economy.

It’s very similar to Carter-Reagan:  the electorate was soured on Jimmah, but suspicious of Reagan.  Once he showed in the debate he wasn’t an insane ogre, he was in.

Romney will have three chances, so if he avoids any awful gaffes and stays on point, people will see he won’t kill their spouses.

I take this as a good sign, just like the wildly false Obama ads.  If they thought they had a chance of beating West on the issues in a typical campaign, they would not be swinging for the fences this early.

    Yes.

But all the stylists in the world could not change that mop.

The number of low info voters has increased greatly since 1980. Frankly, I hope he does win, I just have serious doubts he will.

Even if he does, he won’t make much difference. The changes that must be made to keep us from going over the cliff are so massive that he will quail when he realizes how big they are. That’s assuming he ever learns just what needs to be done. He may not want to look. I can’t blame him. I wouldn’t want to look either.
