According to the Chairoscuro Foundation, New York City’s disastrous abortion rate – 41 percent of all pregnancies in the city end in abortion – is largely the result of repeat abortions. The highest rate of abortion in New York City is in the Manhattan Chelsea-Clinton neighborhood, where 67 percent of pregnancies in end in abortion. Most shocking, in 2009, a full 56 percent of abortions were second abortions; 38 percent were paid for by Medicaid.

1. You could use that to rationalize much, much evil.
2. The woman represented by half those dying in these baby abattoirs are just having the distance between them and God reduced by another woman. See #1.

In the old days, prior to medical advances permitting abortions, if you had an unwanted child and hoped to improve your life, you would pass the child thru the fire and sacrifice your child’s life to Baal. As was then, so is now: Baal is still worshiped by the Progressives.

This is the result of New Yorkers being the most sophisticated people on the planet.

If that is what ‘sophistication’ is, then I vow to be simple, basic, uncomplicated, unsophisticated, plain, old-fashioned, primitive, unrefined, unsubtle.

I am surprised that much heterosexual activity is happening in Chelsea. That neighborhood is demographically the type that shouldn’t have to worry about pregnancy.

This reminds me of the absolutely atrocious abortion statistics that used to come out of the Soviet Union.

Gee, I wonder why that is?…..

  • talonspoint

As one who has never been to NY I once dreamt seeing NY burning. It seems she already is and doesn’t realize it.

  • richard mcenroe

If NYC is “sophisticated” anymore, it’s in the 18th/19th century sense of the word: spoiled.

  • richard mcenroe

That’s why. They’re worried about blowing their cover.

Those numbers are horrifying and tragic. I hope and pray that those women that are using abortion as a means of birth control will be open to seeing a better alternative, one that supports life instead of one that oppresses it. I don’t suppose there was a measure of who comprises the demographic?

  • Red

I never heard it put that way but I can see how that compares.
