This is via Director Blue, who points to a Free Republic article that I will edit a bit for clarity:

The murder of Ambassador Stevens at Benghazi is Obama’s October Surprise gone bad, thanks to two former SEALS who were not supposed to be at Benghazi. But then I ran to the end of the story so let’s back fill the datapoints.

First President Morsi’s first public statement to us was that he wanted the blind imam who first bombed the WTC released. Now, Obama is forever dedicated to appeasing the Muslim world; bowing to them comes naturally to him. Obama knew that he had to obey Morsi’s request. However, he couldn’t release Omar Abdul-Rahman. There had to be a reason powerful enough to warrant his release. What better than to return to the Carter era of American hostages?

Obama saw a way to release the imam and secure his re-election in one act. Wheels were set in motion. Obama needed a cover story. The YouTube video that no one has seen, released in July. America could be shamed into releasing the imam, because someone posted an obscure video, and we have to follow Obama’s lead and bow to muslims.

Next, weaken the security at Benghazi by removing the security teams and employing Libyan bodyguards for the ambassador. In effect the embassy could not defend itself. The back channel had to be from the WH to the imam’s legal representatives. It was suggested that Obama needed a reason to release the imam that America could agree to. What better than hostages? They were informed that there were no security forces at Benghazi to defend Stevens, so over-run the embassy and take him hostage. Really easy.

What was not planned for were former SEALS Donerty and Woods. They were not part of Stevens security detail; they happened to be in Benghazi working for the CIA to located missing surface-to-air missiles.

So the terrorists plan the assault on the embassy thinking there would be no resistance. Well, two SEALS never backed down from defending America and Americans. These two heros gave their lives fighting to protect our embassy and our ambassador. No telling how many peaceful muslims they transported to the after life. However, the terrorists who thought this was just a walk in the park now sought out the Americans to kill them not hold them captive. The overthrow went from hostage taking to killing.

Now the WH knew the plan had blown up. There were no hostages only dead Americans. How to cover? Roll out the 14 minute video, no one has seen, as the cause. The WH cover up was in play.

With the killing of Ambassador Stevens, there could be no exchange, no October Surprise. Oh, what was the October Surprise? Well, Obama would spend a month negotiating with the terrorists for the release of Ambassador Stevens and, finally, and after his focused efforts on saving Stevens’ live, Stevens would be released just before the election. Obama would have sucked out all the energy from the campaign as everyone would be watching him, the Nobel Peace Prize winner, negotiate for the release of Stevens. The world would applaud him, the muslim would have their murderous imam back, he would be reelected and the destruction of America who go on.

We can only thank every day these SEALS for defending America with their lives.

A lot of datapoints, Benghazi, President Morsi, SEALS, blind iman, 14 minute You Tube video; withdrawal of security from embassy, October surprise and Obama’s October surprise.

Wonder which story makes more sense? Mine of the one the WH spins every day that keeps changing as the lies are exposed.

First of all, I don’t believe this. This sounds like a fantastic movie plot. This is one of those tritely plausible connections of dots by some external observer. The idea that any government leaders of any party would play such high-stakes games with peoples’ lives (as opposed to the individually low-stakes games of ObamaCare) is revolting, even for a figure like #OccupyResoluteDesk.

Should any plot as wild and fragile as this one have been driving Benghazi-quiddick (unlike a -gate, we have a death toll) then facts are likely to leak out. You just can’t coordinate across that many agencies without leaving loose information.

God rest those who died in Benghazi.

    Unfortunately for this conspiracy, the retired seals did not die at the consulate. They died when a mortar hit their position on the roof of the safe house located a half mile away and several hours later. These men died defending their fellow citizens at the safe house.
    No conspiracy is needed, only a complete and total cavalier attitude to the safety of the US State Dept people in Libya by the smartest people in the world, while ensconced safely in Washington DC. These four deaths did not even interrupt their fundraiser and cocktail party schedule.
    The security forces at the consulate were “correct level” on 9/11/2012.

    Insane. These were al Qaeda groups attacking in Benghazi, the blink sheik is a muslim bro-hooder. These groups don’t cooperate, they are rivals.

    The simplest and self-evident explanation is that Obama refused to allow armed American security because he didn’t want to “offend” his muslim pals or appear “imperial.” He got our people killed and lies about it to avoid responsibility.

    Of course, this worthless failure has never taken responsibility for anything in his entire life, so it should hardly be surprising he is so desperately trying to avoid manning up now.

    Due to the facts as known now, this “fantastic movie plot” isn’t plausible, the underlying premise however, is perfectly plausible. There is simply no perfidy that this misadministration is incapable of. NONE. While the argument that even they aren’t stupid enough to attempt such an elaborate plot is valid the notion that there are any moral or ethical restraints on their actions is not.

    I think this is definitely a time to ascribe more to incompetence than to conspiracy. A man who can’t be bothered to attend his daily briefings isn’t going to be able to plot something out involving so many complexities in a place like Obama’s Libya Disaster.

    This question needs to be asked. Why was Stevens in Benghazi? Was he ordered there? If so by who and why?

    Maybe there was no coordination. Maybe that’s why the Seals were in the wrong place at the wrong time and the O didn’t know. Reduce the plot to Obama’s reps and Rahman’s Reps and that’s all that’s needed. Obama just signs off on no security for Benghazi (or better yet gets Hillary to do it) and we’re off.

    Remember, we’re not talking geniuses in the WH here. Not even high grade sleazeballs. These are Muslim and Communist operatives who’ve got plenty of sources for intel and for cover/overt action. Anywhere, anytime.

    Wonder if Valerie signed off on this little foray.

    Oh, btw, the appropriate parties (cia,nsa,mi6,mossad, et al) NOW know what was going on.

    That’s why the story changes so much. Too many trying to
    a. cover their own ass (and the respective agency) 1st
    b. trying to deflect any actual blame due to their ignorance
    c. cover the president’s ass because otherwise he’ll come down on them with whatever he can.

    It leads to too many chiefs and not enough indians so everyone’s running around whoo whoo whooing and making no sense.

    If you think they don’t cooperate, you’re living in a dream world.

    They’re like family. Everyone squabbles and argues with each other but when push comes to shove, they all unite against the common enemy; the jews, the christians, any other kaffirs.

    They’ll cooperate don’t kid yourself into thinking there’s some bright line they won’t cross. They share a lot of common aspirations the main one being Islam the 2nd being Islam.

    Many of the Islamic terrorist groups are rivals, even though they share common ideologies and enemies (e.g., America and Israel). They are united through Al Qaeda, which is a network of organizations. For all that Osama bin Laden was in charge of Al Qaeda, he was more of a focal point and coordinator than a leader.

    The rivalry comes from the cultural basket cases that comprise the Islamic world. The rivalries come from different religious sects (Sunni versus Shi’a); interpretations of the Koran (Wahhabi versus Salafi); tribal (name it); national (which sometimes clashes with tribal); and bad blood between families.

    For example, Saudi Arabia (an Arab state, primarily Sunni, with a heavy Wahhabi influence) loathes Iran (a Persian state, primarily Shi’a). That’s because Iran wants to dominate the Middle East, which means knocking out Saudi Arabia, the religious center of Islam, with Mecca and other holy cities. This is why they are a nominal ally of the United States, yet 19 of the 9/11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia.

    And note their cooperation with America in Iraq, especially when Iran was heavily involved in terrorism there, mostly in southern Iraq (which is mostly Shi’a).

    It’s complicated, and you have to look at the overlapping alliances and conflicts, but it’s a safe bet that just as soon as a nation is taken over by one group, there will be more terrorism as the other groups anticipate getting shoved out. Or shoveled into the earth.

    Actually their allegiances are fairly predictable, from first to last Family, Clan, Tribe, Sect, Religion and then Country. Race or ethnicity matter but not as much as sect or religion. AQ will cooperate with the Bros as will Sunni and Shia if it’s against infidels.

    Correct. But they tend to be very focused on their own power base and honor. Anything that even appears to threaten either is met with violence.

    So while their loyalties are consistent, just how they interact with their rivals, where the loyalties are “merely” shared objectives, is a different matter. It’s often competition, and is kept in check through strong leaders.

    Even the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt has argument between Salafi and Wahhabi about the interpretation of the Koran.

    So, it’s complicated..

    Wow, that is some weapons grade paranoia right there… on the other hand, I have no trouble believing that Obama and his clique are capable of trying such a plot, my big problem is accepting that they are competent enough to conceive, organize and execute it. In this instance Occam’s Razor suggests we accept stupidity and incompetence by the Metrosexual Mugabe and his handlers as the preferred explanation for this catastrophe.

    When your damage control consists of running from “It’s because of that video” to “It’s Romney’s fault for running his big mouth” to “Hey, look over there, Big Bird!” you make it impossible for anyone paying attention to ascribe Machiavellian plots to you. This is a cross between the Keystone Kops and the Gang that Couldn’t Shoot Straight.

    Do I find this plausible? Sure…improbable, but not implausable. Think about it. The Obama administration is filled with idiots. Some of the younger members of his inner circle could cook up something as moronic as this…after all, think about how many idiot Hollywood movies have scripts similar to this, and we all know that Hollywood is filled w/naive “progressives”….

    Thank you, Adjoran, for perfectly making the argument Democrats used to demagogue against invading Iraq to stop Saddam from supporting AQ. Of course, we eventually found hard evidence, but anyone with eyes saw Saddam putting up rewards for attacks, etc.

    Robinson went insane has purged the majority of the sane people that used to post over there. It’s become a fever swamp over the last 10 years to rival anything the Dem Underground ever was. It used to be a pretty good place for conservatives.
    I made a few remarks about it to Richard Poe, but he defended the guy. Robinson became an immigration Poltroon and things started going downhill from there to where they are now. The place is rarely worth the time of day anymore.
