Janet Napolitano In 2016?

So, what happens if Hillary Clinton doesn’t run in 2016?
It is hard to imagine the presidential field without a woman contender, and here’s one to keep your eye on: Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. Napolitano is quietly making it known that she is considering the race, and there is reason to take her seriously.

Yeah, I can see the GOP, Tea Partiers, and basically anybody else with a functioning brain being more than a little motivated to work against Big Sis if she’s on the ticket.

Now, if she brings on Bill Maher as VP, would the double negative somehow work?

Realistically, what has ever gone wrong when you put the head of the secret police in charge of the country?

OTOH, that sort of ‘transgressive’ ‘revenge’ vote (against whom? ‘I dunno man, just… revenge, y’know?’) might appeal to the arrested adolescents waving their EBT cards at Starbucks…

Why not dispense with the pointless clamor and let the Social Democrats nominate the candidate for both wings of the party?

    Dudes. Take. A. Chill. Pill.

There is one very viable threat. Hillary Clinton. If she runs, it will be difficult (not impossible) to beat her.

But nonsense talk about Big Sis, Plugs Biden, Elizabeth Lie-a-whopper Warren, and the rest of the Democrat pigmies is just that, nonsense talk.

What will beat the Republicans in ’16 will be the same thing that beat in ’12-themselves.

You speak with much confidence, esp. Michelle O.

Supposedly Billary’s health is not the best in the world. If that’s the case, she may well be out of the running. Frankly, I doubt she will run. Big Sis doesn’t stand much of a chance of being the Dimocrat candidate either.

I hope that Hillary does not run. I suspect the same, but do not know for sure.

I do not rank Michelle as one of the Lilliputians of the Democrat party, but she is a strange woman and not terribly approachable. Remember how she managed to piss off Oprah? I just do not see her pulling it off.

The Dems are dangerous, but with the exception of Hillary it will not be one of these names that have been bantered around the last few days.

Plus, Michelle wants to make sure Barack does not engage in any Bill Clinton activities post presidency. Of course, it is not the young ladies she probably has to worry about. It is a full time job making sure he does not embarass her.

So, would that be “Madam President” or “Mr. President”? I’m confused.

I find nothing funny about the prospect. Instead, I am filled with a sense of dread and horror.

    “Madam President, Sir!”

They were motivated against BHO, and we see how that turned out.

Please. Stacy’s crazy cousin could have beat her.

So my choices on the Dem side are Big Sis, Elizabeth ‘Fauxcahontas’ Warren, Joe ‘the Brain’ Biden, and Shrillary.

Boy howdy what choices those are.

Shrillary isn’t going to get the nomination — you heard it here first. There’s enough of the progressive side of the Dems who hate, hate, hate her that it just won’t happen. I’m thinking they’re in the bag for Warren, and everyone else is window dressing.

The real question is, who gets the data machine that Messina and company built?

Don’t kid yourself, she probably would have beat McDaddy. I am not afraid of her, but I take her seriously and she is their strongest contender right now.

She would certainly receive quite the boost if her hubby didn’t make it to 2016. Let us not forget Leftist history regarding leaders who have outlived their usefulness. You heard it here first.

The idea of Janet Napolitano being elected President is no laughing matter. As a resident of Arizona I found her 1.5 terms in office as governor to be horrid enough. The modest benefit of her abdicating 2 years into her second term shouldn’t be overlooked though.

I could survive Stephen Colbert as VP of the United States but the thought of having to endure weeks upon end of Bill Maher as he sneers upon those of us who don’t agree with him is painful.
