PHOTO: ‘Model Citizen’ Kaitlyn Hunt Helps Sister in 2-on-1 Beach Beatdown

Posted on | June 2, 2013 | 91 Comments

Five days ago, I called attention to the video in which alleged victim of homophobia Kaitlyn Hunt screams at her younger sister: “Beat her f**king ass, Emily! Beat her ass! Get that bitch!”

Someone who was present for this incident captured the image above, which shows Kaitlyn — with the telltale bird tattoo on her right shoulder — turning this fight into a 2-on-1 beatdown of the other girl.

Are we really surprised that some local gay-rights groups aren’t supporting the “Free Kate” campaign on Hunt’s behalf?

Who wants to join the herd of credulous people who were deceived by Kaitlyn’s mother’s May 17 Facebook post, which described her as “wonderful . . . exemplary . . . respected and well liked . . . never been in trouble, ever, she truly is the model student and child”? Who really believes that Kaitlyn Ashley Hunt (Booking #2013-00000708) is, as her lawyer has claimed, a “model citizen“?

Is this how “model citizens” behave? Have law enforcement authorities in Indian River County seen this video?

Shouldn’t they be investigating this incident as an assault?

After the initial fact-deficient hysteria, which portrayed Kaitlyn Hunt as a martyr for the cause of equality, Matt Ross says it “seems that calmer voices are starting to prevail.”

Let’s hope so. Another blogger coins the word “Trayvoned”  to describe this myth-making process: The media provide a carefully constructed narrative of victimhood and, by the time countervailing facts emerge, the crusading mob is already emotionally invested.

S.J. Reidhead compiles some of the more vicious examples of irrational hate generated by the “Free Kate” mob, including a Canadian transsexual named Amber Dawn Redman who wants to see conservative Christians “tied . . . to a stake, tortured and burned.”

Again, are we really surprised by this? What do we expect of people who celebrate a violent tattooed she-hooligan like Kaitlyn Hunt?

“Beat her f**king ass, Emily! Beat her ass! Get that bitch!”

You stay classy, Hunt family . . .

So with this it seems she should get in trouble. After all, this fight took place after she was arrested, and it is likely that the girl being assaulted is a minor since, according to Emily’s eloquent tweets, this fight was over a boy she and the girl both liked. I think people need to start hounding the DA to look into this.

She really would appear to be exceptional, a model citizen etc. to a pack of back woods hillbilly jacked up lowlifes like the Hunt family

My point is that it contradicts the image of Kaitlyn that the Hunt family presented to the public, a false image of Kaitlyn the “model student” which the media used to promote the Saint Kate myth, which was the dominant narrative when I first took notice of the story May 22.

Not every fight among teenagers results in criminal prosecution, but here you have a stunning contrast between Kaitlyn as her supporters portray her — the innocent victim of homophobia — and Kaitlyn as a she really is, a violent foul-mouthed hooligan.

Say whatever you want about “homophobia,” but I can’t blame any family for wanting to keep that white-trash thug away from their 14-year-old kid.

It would not be an “assault”, as you use the improper legal terminology – rather a battery. And this is NOT PROOF of an incident occurring after the arrest, or following her 18th birthday (possibly too being a minor) unless you can explain how Kaitlyn having 2 tattoos on her back, has only one in this video…

    His wombatness reported on:

a Canadian transsexual named Amber Dawn Redman who wants to see conservative Christians “tied . . . to a stake, tortured and burned.”

And is anyone surprised that someone who has already done violence to his own genitals would support violence done to others?

  26. Dana
    June 3rd, 2013 @ 7:59 am

Oh, good grief, when I was in high school, and a fight started, all the spectators gathered around in a circle cheering on the pugilists. Of course, when I was in high school, a fight was just a fight, and when it was over, it was over. No one was suspended or expelled and the police were not called for such trivial stuff.

As for the older Miss Hunt helping her sister, I don’t see that as out of line; who would stand by and watch his brother or sister lose a fight?

  27. Dana

    Even
if it was kate in the video -which i highly doubt- she still has a
right to defend herself against an unjust system. It would be like
bashing rosa parks for a fist fight she once had as a kid as an attempt
to take her civil rights away. Name calling and bashing is a well known
tactic that is used when no other valid opposing arguments are
    available.

  31. Mm
    June 3rd, 2013 @ 8:09 am

Name calling and bashing … you mean like doxing the victim’s family and calling them “homophobes” for protecting their daughter from a sexual predator? Or are young black girls fair game to white girls in your view?

  32. Jason
    June 3rd, 2013 @ 8:18 am

If someone tries to ruin my daughters life than its war and once war starts everything is fair game once war starts. If i were the other girls dad then there wouldnt be any issues, i would love to have kate as daughter in law. The other girls parents decision to press charges started this.

  33. Mm

One girl is a minor, the other ‘girl’ an adult.

Only one set of parents is legally bound to act in the best interests of their child.

That there were charges to be pressed is a problem you seemingly fail to recognize.

  40. Arlene
    June 3rd, 2013 @ 10:39 am

    Very telling.

No sense of adults having to take responsibility for poor decisions.

You would have no issues with your 14 year old having sex with an adult.

I hope you do not have children.

  41. Dana
    June 3rd, 2013 @ 11:00 am

Actually, I’d say that it was Miss Hunt’s not staying away after being (twice) warned by her victim’s parents. If she had done that, then the parents (probably) would not have pressed charges.

It’s one thing to do something illegal because you are stupid; it’s something entirely different to repeat it after you are warned about it.

  44. BredRightAndTrue
    June 3rd, 2013 @ 12:23 pm

Lovely. Blame the victim and the victim’s parents.

KATE started this garbage when she opted to sexually offend a minor, and exacerbated the entire situation when she chose to become a repeat offender.

Commentary such as yours is proof the world is truly upside down.

Wow. So you believe that laws prohibiting sex with kids are unjust. Or is it just when the kids are black?

  47. Jason
    June 3rd, 2013 @ 4:03 pm

I am saying that 18 is still a kid to me, regardless of what the law says. 18 and 12 would be a problem. You guys just need to concentrate on real problems and stop worrying about 2 kids who had a teenage romance in the same age group. The so called law allows a 60 year old to be together with a 18 year old but as soon as the law says a 18 year old is now an adult you guys believe it and orientate your selfs on it. I am 40 and believe me 18 is still a kid and a 14/15 year olds can make her own decisions.

  48. ThomasD
    June 3rd, 2013 @ 4:33 pm

    Assault, not offend.

By law the 14 year old could not give consent.

  49. Marie
    June 3rd, 2013 @ 4:33 pm

So I guess that means I, as a bakery owner, can refuse service to a lesbian couple because I don’t believe in gay marriage, even though it would be illegal, since in my eyes, that law would be “unjust”

Of course, we all know liberal idiots like you practice double standards. Freedom for you, but not for anyone else.
