Adrian Lamo Is a Hero

Posted on | June 4, 2013 | 53 Comments

Anybody who is hated by Anonymous must be doing something right:

Lamo previously lived in Sacramento but went into hiding for fear of reprisals for turning in the 25-year-old soldier . . .

(It is an insult to honorable soldiers to call a gutless lying cowardly dirtbag like Bradley Manning a “soldier.”)

. . . who if convicted could get life in prison. . . .

(And should have already been shot by a firing squad.)

Not only did Lamo alert authorities, but he also recorded all of his chat logs with Manning and continued to chat with him for several days under the government’s guidance.

By God, they ought to pin a medal on Adrian Lamo. The only people who support Bradley Manning are traitorous scum. America has no worse enemies than these filthy vermin. No terrorist in Afghanistan hates America as much as do Manning’s supporters, who include the reporters at the New York Times and the Washington Post who go out of their way to portray him sympathetically.

Have I mentioned that my son is a soldier? I think I have. And I can’t help wondering what the hell is going on at the Pentagon that they would have let a worthless traitor like Bradley Manning into the Army, much less let him anywhere near classified secrets:

Former computer hacker Adrian Lamo testified Tuesday that he reported Bradley Manning to authorities after the Army private admitted leaking thousands of pages of classified U.S. documents. . . .
Manning . . . confided his plans to leak the documents to Lamo in a series of online chats that included this message: “I’m an Army intelligence analyst, deployed to eastern Baghdad, pending discharge for ‘adjustment disorder.’ . . . If you had unprecedented access to classified networks 14 hours a day 7 days a week for 8+ months, what would you do?” . . .
Lamo said Manning told him in the May 2010 online chats that he felt suicidal, fearing that he would be exposed as a homosexual, and said he “didn’t believe in good guys or bad guys anymore.”

Not only should they sentence Manning to prison for the rest of his useless life, but they need to court-martial whatever idiot recruiting officer signed off on letting that twerp into the Army.

You left out “drawn and quartered.”

    Dogs should gnaw his bones.

Is the question- Is Bradley Manning a hero?

    Or is the question –

How much $MONEY$ did Bradley Manning take for $TEALING United States Government Classified Documents, and $ELLING them?

He’s already plead guilty to some of the charges so exactly how can he be a hero when he acknowledges he committed crimes?

Those masks… for some reason they remind me of my old baseball bat.

    Weird, huh?

He’s a hero, all right. It’s nuts that Manning (who very well may have cost some people their lives, and certainly screwed some diplomatic relations into extraordinarily interesting pretzel shapes) should ever be regarded sympathetically.

But Anonymous is composed largely of adolescents and emotional adolescents, and there is nothing worse than bearing tales among that set.

No love for him being hung in chains, then?

The answer: “Probably not as much as I should.”

The question: “How much do you hate Bradley Manning?”

I’m not rational on the subject.

Manning won’t hanged. He is a potential witness to other prosecutions, including Julian Assange, although the Russian have promised to prosecute Assange in their own way.

Larger questions: Lamo was just one of several members of a group that effectively turned Manning from unhappy gay man in uniform to traitor. Like Kimberlin, those folks were networked – they hooked Manning up with Assange – and the network is likely still being traced.
Just like the networks that are smuggling Muslim soldiers away from American training bases and the Express to Canada for deserters – there are groups of anti-American Americans actively working today.
The question being how many degrees of separation are these networks from the former Acorn, DNC, Code Pink and other approved Prognazi agencies?

Hang Manning as soon after conviction as possible.
There will be plenty of forensic evidence to nail Assange.

You people are so naive, history will look at manning as a hero and obama as corparate scum. The american military industrial complex is sucking you tax payers for all your worth, and laughing all the way to the bank.

“If ever time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.” Samuel Adams

Showing the people the truth of the war crimes from a corrupt government IS being patriotic.

And your an idiot to think that these leaks put anyone in danger, its been proven they didnt put anyone in danger, and its just a scare tactic by the administration who intimidates anyone who speaks the truth!

Get back to me when you learn how to spell. Manning at best will be remembered as an oddball, a flake. More likely than not he won’t be thought of at all.

Bradley Manning is a whistle-blower that exposed war crimes being prosecuted with a heavy hand to discourage other whistle-blowers from exposing war crimes. He is also not guilty of aiding the enemy under the UCMJ as charged. There is no contract or ceremony where Manning agreed to be an accessory to concealment of war crimes, only a soldier, & that is why he will now always be an American hero no matter what happens to him. He has bigger balls than everyone else that ever served in Baghdad put together. His talents were not recognized, hence he did not receive the training necessary for the psychological pressure of his actions and thus acted irrationally when contacting Lamo. If you think whistle-blowers of war crimes should be prosecuted I would encourage you to defect to North Korea, Cuba, Myanmar, Russia, or China where the governments agree with your position about whistle-blowers and war crimes. Here in America, Manning’s courts martial is repugnant to our values. He should be dishonorably discharged for being overtly homosexual in violation of don’t ask don’t tell, and nothing more. Now if you think Assange or any other journalist should be prosecuted, I would encourage you to re-read the first amendment before killing yourself. Communists that believe an unaccountable military should prosecute journalists are why it’s a good idea to stockpile weapons and ammunition.

I really don’t think you can hang anything on his recruiter, other than recruiting a dwarf.

He looks like the quintessential REMF.

    Though, tell me.

When I joined the USAF, I had to get letters of recommendation from three college professors, then the recruiting TSgt had to assess me, then I interviewed with a USAF Major and got sworn in on an early enlistment. All that after I’d done the ASVAB and a physical, and before I was given travel orders to Lackland.

    Have things changed.

Maybe things changed after Clinton entered office.
