Also striking in this clip is a politician admitting he was wrong. Good stuff:

In this bit, the role of Ed Gruberman will be played by Norm Ornstein.

I would like it better if McConnell got up and started bitch slapping Ornstein till he cried.

That was good, but it would have been better if McConnell had explained that civics is social welfare.

On the bright side, some of them would be Ornstein’s.

To be fair, McConnell has a number of good statements on this issue, and mentions that among them. I don’t like Mitch on most things. But he’s rock solid on the 1st Amendment.

I’ve always been curious about one aspect of the left in general and the LBGTQ crowd in particular. Namely, their absolute inability to make their points without using the vilest language their angry little heads can come up with.

I am immensely pleased to see this mini-revival of “boot to the head” as an expressive rhetorical device. I think it serves well to properly express justified emotions and help steer them toward useful courses of action. Anyone that fails to use this phrase on a regular basis should get…well, you know.

Back in the day, there was a capacity to understand cartoon violence intellectually, without needing to carry it out physically. Progress seems to have eliminated that feature.

    Nice performance from Granny Mitch.

Would that he possessed the same attitude when acting as leader of the GOP in the Senate.

Don’t trust him. He’s part of the Ruling Class.

Yeppers! McConnell needs a boot to the head himself. Everyday. With someone yelling in his why he is getting it.

Nice to see at least 1 Repub take it out on the NeoCon. Let’s help the AEI tools to get out of the way and restore some Conservatism to the Repub Party if possible.
