Democrats and the Murder Vote

Posted on | January 5, 2014 | 15 Comments

Ann Althouse was shocked by this quote:

“There are thousands of murderers walking around who
haven’t been brought to justice…. It’s horrifying.”

But how else could Democrats get elected?

Jail survey: 7 in 10 felons
register as Democrats

Maybe somebody should write a book about this . . .

That Althouse is shocked simply demonstrates her cluelessness.

And those murderers are walking free because their neighbors and relatives WANT THEM TO. Despite being their most likely victims, their community continues to put a wall of silence around their crimes, to protect them, to coddle them.

Anyone else read secondcitycop’s blog? Every gangbanger shot in Chicago has a cadre of relatives ready to declare they were “turning their life around” and “not in a gang (anymore)” and “a good kid who fell into bad company”. The one thing they can never say is “he was an idiot and a criminal and I’m not surprised at his fate” — but that’s the mindset that will actually turn their community around, instead of driving it deeper into filth.

Like stoners flocking to Colorado, murderers and would-be murderers flock to blue states.

I’m not so sure that Ann is “shocked” – the headline (” It’s horrifying”) is quoting a police detective in the linked article – that’s why she used quotation marks. At the end of her post she agrees that it is horrifying (and also “just the way it is”).- I don’t see that as her being “shocked”. One thing I have learned about Ann, as a professor she demands careful reading of what she posts.

RSM is usually better at nuance than this.

Of those “7 in 10” felons, how many are unindicted, office-holding Democrats?

In most big cities, testifying against a ‘banger is tantamount to a death sentence. It demonstrates the power of terror over common sense. In New Orleans, scores of murderers were set free because of dead, disappearing, runaway and “suddenly forgetful” witnesses.

“Bluuuuue States, Dawg! Where da bennies is better!

Getting rid of the current welfare scheme would be tantamount to cleaning up a filthy kitchen as a way to get rid of rats and roaches. It isn’t the solution, but it sure makes it easier to find one.

She may read very carefully, but a lot of good it did her when she voted for Obama.

The remaining 3 in 10, how many are TEA Partiers, conservatives, or Republicans?
