His mother, Melyssa Lieb, said she knew her son was working in adult films, adding that he took the roles to support her financially.
“I think he’s the most awesome person in the world,” she said. . . .
Lieb said the [Cocoa High School] principal told her, “He was expelled due to his explicit lifestyle career.”
“I think that it is Dr. [Stephanie] Soliven’s morals and her personal beliefs and I don’t think that this is anybody’s business except for my son’s,” said Lieb.

Marucci has appeared in several scenes on the bareback gay porn site [which I won’t name or link] . . . known for using clean-cut, all-American type boys in explicit condom-less sex. Appearing under the stage name “Noel,” Marucci, who doesn’t identify as gay, is seen in a film participating in a six-man bareback orgy.

So it was not “safe sex,” and the “clean-cut, all-American type” who did an orgy with five other guys “doesn’t identify as gay.”

UPDATE II: Brevard board supports barebacking teen:

The district denies that Robert Marucci was previously suspended because of his role in gay pornography and said the principal, who has taken a lot of heat because of the incident, called Marucci this morning. Brevard Schools spokeswoman Michelle Irwin said Principal Stephanie Soliven and Marucci reached an agreement and he would return to school on Wednesday. . . .
“It’s easy to become emotional about a situation when it looks like a student is being targeted for his lifestyle choices, that is not the case here,” Irwin said. . . .
“We would never suspend a student for his job or job-related activities,” Irwin, the district spokeswoman, told FLORIDA TODAY this morning.

See? Robert Marucci’s “lifestyle choices” won’t keep him out of Cocoa High School, because six-way gay bareback orgy videos are acceptable as “job-related activities” in Brevard County.

UPDATE III: In a comment below, “Art Deco” says Florida public records show that Marucci’s mother, Melyssa Lieb, 41, was only briefly married to the boy’s father, Robert L. Marucci, Jr., in 1996-97. If Markus’s online document research is correct, the porn star’s father had previously been divorced in 1994, and the teenager’s grandfather, Robert L. Marucci, Sr., was also twice divorced in 1978 and 1981. So that would be four divorces in less than 20 years for two generations of Marucci men.

All the information out about this story is coming from only one side, but I am concerned about what exactly was used to suspend this student. While his off-campus behavior is repulsive, I would have to know what his on-campus behavior (that he could control) was that justified his suspension. Seems like the real disruption in the school now is the reaction to the suspension. Should the principal be held accountable for this disruption and be punished accordingly? Sometimes, in situations like this, the school can not share the relevant information. In this case, the gay rights groups own the narrative.

Here is something I found when looking for the school’s side of the story – it doesn’t have to do with this issue, but I can see some relevance.

School closures put new students in the middle at Cocoa High

Now for the first time, Cocoa High has 7th through 12th graders under the same roof.

More than 500 7th and 8th grade former Clearlake Middle students are now a part of the 69-acre campus.

Wells now has two children attending classes at Cocoa High – a son entering 10th grade, and his 12-year-old daughter in 7th grade.

“I’ve told her to be aware of her surroundings, and she’s got a big brother here to help her out,” Wells said.

The younger and older kids likely won’t cross paths that much, especially with the age gap ranging from 11 to 18.

See, I think thanks to the FreeKaters mantra that sex between 18 year olds and younger students in the same school should not be considered a sex crime, there might be a certain hypersensitivity on things like this. Maybe some parents of 11 and 12 year old students just aren’t comfortable with them sharing the same school with 18 year old porn actors. Or that their 11 & 12 year old daughters should be fair game for 18 year old Kate Hunt types.

If I am interpreting the relevant databases correctly, this youth’s parents were married in June of 1996 (after his birth) and then a dissolution degree was issued just 15 months later, on 29 Sept. 1997. For better or for worse.

Apparently his father is one Robert L. Marucci, Jr., who marched through the divorce courts in 1994 and again in 1997. There is also a certain Robert L. Marucci, Sr. in Brevard County, Fla who was issued divorce decrees in 1978 and again in 1981.

What say? A family goes from imprudent and unserious to grotesque.

Irwin said the student was never expelled but was told to stay home and issued a referral slip because of “credible allegations” the staff received. That was weeks ago. She would not elaborate on why he was sent home, citing the Family Educational Rights to Privacy Act. She said the school conducted an investigation and all allegations had been cleared.

The school says Marucci never told anyone he was being bullied. Local 6 reports that the referral slip given to Marucci says he threatened to bring weapons to school, though Marucci denied that to the TV station.

So, let’s do the math here:

A) Someone probably made these allegations, falsely and maliciously.

B) School obligated to investigate – potential school violence is a concern.

C) Because he can claim to be a victim of gay discrimination, he plays that card. No proof that he was bullied.

D) Gay groups jump on the bandwagon, get plenty of low infos to get on board too. A “social movement” is born.

E) Story starts to fall apart, but movement continues. Gay groups will keep the narrative going. Of course the low infos will fall off – intellectually they have the capacity of slugs. But they have served as useful idiots for the movement.

Am I the only one wondering why an 18 year old high school student is supporting his mother and not the other way around???

What is this woman doing all day? Did I miss something or are kids now responsible for financially supporting their parents? If so, that’s “awesome” because my boyfriend’s daughter will be moving in soon and now I won’t have to shell out $10,000 dollars per year for private school.
