‘If It Was a Rape, It Was Good Rape’

Posted on | February 13, 2014 | 79 Comments

“One of the contributors [to a 1993 feminist essay collection], Doris C. DeHardt, a feminist therapist . . . thinks that ‘feminist marriage is, like military intelligence, an oxymoron.’ . . . [M]ost of the lesbian contributors took no pains to conceal their sense of superiority at living perfectly coherent feminist lives.”
Daphne Patai, Heterophobia (1998)

Everybody laughed at the RadFem who said “PIV is always rape, OK?” But no matter how absurd feminist arguments seem to sane people, our laughter does not change the fact that radical lesbian baby-killers take their man-hating Marxist ideology quite seriously.

Despite her weird resemblance to Dustin Hoffman, women’s studies professor Bettina Aptheker was not joking when she said lesbianism is “the highest state of feminism.” On the one hand, caustic sarcasm is an entirely appropriate response to the Lunatic Lesbian Liberation Movement, but on the other hand, the lunatics are actually “winning” the argument, because normal people are afraid of being called sexist homophobes if they tell the truth about what radical feminism really is.

The consequences of this cowardice are evident everywhere:

At least 10 Catholic colleges and universities will be hosting productions of The Vagina Monologues or have officially recognized student groups that are performing the play in 2014, The Cardinal Newman Society has learned. Many of the institutions with connections to the play in 2014 have reportedly hosted the play in past years, and students from at least one institution are advertising 15 years of performances.
The Monologues seriously distorts human sexuality and celebrates sinful behaviors, including lesbian activity and masturbation. One scene even declares a lesbian rape of a teenage girl her “salvation” which raised her into “a kind of heaven.” The play’s production on Catholic campuses has been criticized by several bishops.

If lesbian rape is feminist “salvation,” women who have sex with teenage girls must be the Blessed Saints of Radical Feminism.

Left to right: Nicole Wooten, Tonya Drueppel, Andrea Cardosa.

It’s easy to joke about this, as I say, but what do we expect women to do when feminist academics and activists tell them that lesbianism is the only way to escape male oppression? Those who rallied to the defense of Kaitlyn Hunt argued that enforcing age-of-consent laws is homophobic if the accused offender is gay. (ABC will feature “Free Kate” again on 20/20 Friday.) And in case you haven’t noticed, there have been several recent cases where older lesbians decided to “liberate” pubescent minors from oppressive patriarchal heteronormativity:

  • Arizona physical education teacher Nicole Wooten was arrested last February on charges that she had sex with a girl in 2005 and 2006, when the victim was a 12-year-old eighth-grader.
  • Texas music teacher Linda Wallace was sentenced to prison in September after pleading guilty to having had a four-year sexual affair with a female student that began when the girl was 13.
  • South Dakota teacher Tonya Drueppel was arrested in January on charges that she had sex with a middle-school girl beginning in October 2012, when the victim was 13.

In the most high-profile recent case, California teacher Andrea Cardosa, 40, was arrested after a 28-year-old woman said her former basketball coach began molesting her when she was 12. “You ruined my childhood,” the former student, Jamie Carillo, said in a telephone confrontation with Cardosa that went viral on YouTube. Carillo later told KTLA-TV how the molestation began: “She was kissing me, and then it turned into putting her hands down my pants. … She just completely manipulated me into thinking that I needed her and I wanted it.”

Gee, where do people get these ideas?

Such is the logic of radical feminism: All men are complicit in this system of violence they call the patriarchy. All women are victims of patriarchal oppression, and therefore heterosexual intercourse is always rape. Women who think they like having sex with men are actually victims of “brainwashing and mind-control” by men who “deliberately manipulate our responses to increase their control over us,” Radical Wind explains.
This is why feminists have made Valentine’s Day an annual occasion for the performance of Eve Ensler’s play “The Vagina Monologues” on university campuses. One of the most controversial scenes in Ensler’s original play involved a 13-year-old girl experiencing “a kind of heaven” after being sexually molested by an older lesbian: “If it was rape, it was a good rape.” That line was subsequently excised from the script and the girl’s age changed to 16, but the fundamental point of the scene remains: Lesbian sex is never wrong, and introducing young girls to lesbianism is a good thing. . . .

Please read the whole thing at The American Spectator.

Feminism may seem like a joke, but Marxist lesbians take it seriously.

There is hope. These people are a minority and their insanity is starting to become apparent to many. I don’t understate the danger, but I can’t imagine this insanity prevailing. I suspect Abraham could fine 10 righteous souls just here at the Other McCain.

As much as I want to agree with you, I’m afraid we’re too far down the road to perdition. We snoozed when the culture was taken from us. We relied on the “old verities,” while they were being subverted under our noses. And when we did notice, we didn’t care, or thought just a little relaxation of the standards would not be harmful. What we refused to realize is that every inch lost in these fights, gave the other side the impetus to go that much farther. So now we find ourselves here.

And once again some conservative blogger has to destroy whatever good will he built up. I was with you 100% in your disgust with radical feminism, but of course you just to find a way to connect it to the majority of lesbian women. Pathetic. You guys just can’t lay off the smears of gay people, and this issue is such a loser for all of you, and within a generation or two homosexual marriage will be in all 50 states.

Speak for yourself there RS. Personally, I blame the Me Generation – every election cycle since 1964 they’ve voted for politicians who would pay them off, assuage their guilt, and give them a comfortable retirement at their children’s and grandchildren’s expense. Mostly Democrat, and sometimes Republican, and conservative and Christian only when it was counter-culture.

One of the greatest enemies of Christian activism is the idea that internet commenting, facebook liking, tweeting or re-tweeting, or other forms of social media actually makes a difference.

In 99% of the cases, people are either preaching to the choir or arguing with a troll.

If you want to change society in the culture war, you have to be willing to actually do something rather than merely putting a snarky comment on a blog, and spending the rest of the day patting yourself on the back because you fought the good fight.

The Blessed Fulton Sheen said it best in 1972, “Who is going to save our Church? Not our bishops, not
our priests and religious. It is up to you, the people. You have the minds, the
eyes, the ears to save the Church. Your mission is to see that your priests act
like priests, your bishops, like bishops, and your religious act like
    religious.”

I can assure you that if you took actual quotes from “The Vagina Monologues” and put them on 36″ x 60″ boards and stood vigil outside of the homes, offices, churches, and country clubs of the trustees of these “alleged” catholic (small c intended) colleges, this type of blasphemous, anti-Christian, radical behaviors would come to a screeching halt.

A common man once said, “All that is necessary for evil to exist is darkness and willing co-conspirators.”

Who is willing to shine some light on one of the colleges who is allowing this depravity to occur on campus?

The College of the Holy Cross board of trustees can be found here:

    http://www.holycross.edu/catalog/trustees.pdf

The only question that remains is whether any of the readers of this blog are willing to stand up in the face of evil and defend Christendom.

Remember John 15:18 “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first.”

My point is that IDEAS HAVE CONSEQUENCES, and the ideology of feminism — derived from Marxism, with men as the class enemy and “patriarchy as capitalism” — is no exception to the rule. Feminism is not about equality; feminism is about destroying marriage, destroying the market economy, destroying the Judeo-Christian moral code and, ultimately, destroying humanity. If somehow you are reading something into this that I haven’t written, this is your fault and not mine.

The VM appeals most to people who are saturated in a culture that has separated sex from marriage, because the appeal is in the belief that there are things that men need to know, and women need to talk about, regarding women’s anatomy and sexuality.

There is no man on the planet who has an incentive to please a woman as much as her husband does. Husbands and wives need to learn things about each other, but what they don’t need is a public discussion about how other women like to be pleased. The only people who need that are the ones who are going home with, or think it’s reasonable to go home with, a total stranger.

If you really cared about women’s sexuality and sexual pleasure, you would promote marriage.

I saw and heard Bettina Apetheker speak when I was in college. Bettina was speaking at a “Free Angela Davis” rally at San Jose State University.

I also heard her father, Herbert Apetheker speak at the University of Santa Clara. Both were well-know card-carrying Communists. I wasn’t present at either speech to learn anything, I was there to see how I might oppose them.

I was somewhat successful in harassing Herbert. He stated in his address that eye-witnesses stated that Cuba was much better off under Communism. The audience broke into laughter. I then said in a loud and laughing voice, “Potemkin Villages!” Herbert said angrily, “Someone in the audience is muttering about Potemkin Villages!”

Yup. It was a memorable event for me. Whenever you can piss off the chief theoretician of the American Communist Party, it is a good night.

It’s not that sex is separated from marriage, it is also separated from LOVE. Sex is just an “activity” a way to “have fun” and get your freak on. It is only Patriarchal Bourgeoisie oppression that shackles a fully natural act to outmoded values of love/respect/commitment.

What this is about is the complete destruction of personal relationships. You will be allowed a little fun with random partners, but your only serious relationship is to be with The State.
