It’s Almost As Though They Have A Script Sitting In Wait, Or Something

There seems to be a pattern:

  1. unarmed young black guy is shot,
  2. there is a vast media outcry over the young “honor student’s” death,
  3. family provides photos of the dead guy taken when he was 11 years old, well before he had opted for the ghetto thug look,
  4. it comes out that the “honor student” has been committing felonies,
  5. witnesses say the honor student was beating the hell out of the person who shot him,
  6. Democrat politicians call for the shooter’s conviction, and
  7. prosecutors, fearing rioting, black voters, or what have you, prosecute the shooter anyway.

Have I missed anything?

Probably could add something about #OccupyResoluteDesk inserting himself, sadly, wearily, oh-why-won’t-this-world-listen-to-me-self-righteously.

An interesting nuance is the way Obama gets his emotional vampire on in these cases, while never getting too close to Rev. Jesse or Rev. Al or whichever flag officer the Racism Industrial Complex deploys to whip up the Low Information Voters.

Then you have the logistics of bringing in your Professional Protest Staff.

I noticed in one of the live feeds last night that the communists from Chicago were handing out literature and trying to instigate turmoil.

Minor correction — the actual prosecutors have not pursued charges. They had to appoint a “special prosecutor” to go after Zimmerman, and the “family” is demanding the same in this case.

The politicians, interfering with the prosecutors, are the ones who appoint the “special prosecutor”.

Something happens that involves a black and a white.
    The black loses.
Liberals, devoid of facts, assume racism was involved.
Liberals stage demonstrations, start hashtags, wave signs, etc.
Facts come out, confirm self-defense and no racism.
Liberals cling to assumptions, lies, illogic, whatever they have to in order to continue to believe racism because they want it to be racist.
Conservatives believe no apparent racism was involved.
    Liberals call conservatives “racists.”

You missed the last step. The extortion of large amounts of money (billions) purportedly intended to go to the community to solve the problems, but never seem to accomplish anything. Except to make the hucksters richer.

FYI, in Missouri, only the Prosecutor him/herself can decide whether to recuse. S/he is a separate elected official. If the prosecutor makes the wrong choice, it becomes an issue on appeal obviously, as well as a potential ethical violation which could jeopardize his/her law license. If the prosecutor recuses, then the Attorney General appoints a substitute.

To think that the prosecutor Bob McCulloch would not do his job is ludicrous. If anything, he is overzealous in the extreme, and not particularly popular with the defense bar. It’s also worthy to note, he is a Democrat.

The national media portrays this as some sort of “indigenous” uprising. It’s not. Those who are creating most of the turmoil, looting, etc. are carpetbagging opportunists. There are good people in Ferguson, and they want answers. That is understandable. But they are most definitely not the ones trashing their own town, aided and abetted by the media. Candlelight vigils are not good video; Molotov cocktails are.

  16. Morpheus

And then conservative media immediately goes to work finding ways to rationalize the killing of an unarmed black man like “he smoked pot”, “flashed gang signs in a photo”, got in fights”, “had a prior arrest”, “said disparaging things about white people, or the cops”, etc. We can then throw in ways that conservatives seek to smear, and discredit protesters that are justifiably outraged, and right, by focusing on looting, or petty crimes like a fight, or smoking pot. Fox News does a hell of a job seeking out the most inarticulate people to explain complex sociopolitical reasons for the protests in order to further discredit the cause. CNN did a fair amount of this too during OWS, especially corporate/finance whore Erin Burnett. This was done repeatedly during the 2011 Occupy protests, and actions on college campus’s against banks, corporations, and aspects of free market capitalism, all of which were completely justified. The best was the constant accusations of rape, and drug use by conservatives, and their media allies during those protests, and further justification of police brutality, and repression of free speech, and assembly toward the protesters.

The racism doesnt have to be on the part of the individual. What we are still seeing is institutional racism toward blacks, and part of an overall mentality that cops have. Darren Wilson is just another brainwashed foot soldier who isn’t even aware of his own bigotry.

Troll. No one know what happened. You accuse “conservatives” of nefarious intent, but pass judgment on the police officer with an equivalent unwillingness to wait for the facts. But, of course, you’re on the side of the angels, so your prejudices are just fine and dandy.

  20. Morpheus

One, I never mentioned the cop, and only stated what conservatives, and conservative media do in order to discredit the black male, or female, either killed, or brutalized by police. It’s constant. Second, you smear me as a “troll” for having an opinion that counters yours. Facts are facts, and the conservative playbook toward protests that seek to change the status quo is consistent since the 1960’s, and the time of J.Edgar Hoover, and that is to find anyway possible to smear the protesters in order to discredit the cause. It wouldnt surprise me to find out that much of the agitation and looting was coordinated or conducted by undercover cops, and their informants.

Roy Edroso at the Village Voice has a wonderful little article(actually it’s a column) which does nothing more than quote conservative bloggers, and media in trying to rationalize murdering unarmed black males through demonizing them. It’s called the “Old Ooga-Booga”, and you guys trot it out every single time something like this happens.

Darren Wilson’s bigotry isn’t real. It’s a product of your imagination. When a person assaults a police officer and gets shot, the attacker is responsible for it. Holding a black person accountable for their own actions is not racism. When you realize this you’ve taken your first step toward curing yourself of liberalism.

And we do what happened. A white cop, in a town known for showing racial bias toward it’s black community killed an unarmed black teenager. And would it even matter to you if we knew everything? NO. You would still find a way to blame the victim. A lot of you are still blaming Rodney King for that incident, and not the LAPD who have a racist history going back to the 50’s.

You’re a little broad with that “you guys” thing.

Me, I’ve been waiting to get some decent reporting out of Ferguson. Which hasn’t been easy.

But then, it’s been decades since we’ve gotten accurate reporting about “black on black” crime in most major cities. Odd how the “conservative racist” bit gets instant headlines. But the kids shot in the street by other kids doesn’t even make the local news.

But then what do I know. I’m just a libertarian observer.

My point exactly, pinhead. You take a photograph of an incident that didn’t happen anywhere near Zuccotti Park, which is where the protests took place, and use it to discredit the justifiable outrage at our banks getting away with blatant criminal fraud, tanking the world economy, and driving people into poverty, along with wealthy corporate interests shaping law, and public policy to their ends. You’re an idiot, and a tool. Of course you’ll just bring up some other supposed incident that happened at Occupy to make a point, while showing how oblivious you are and missing the point entirely, as if there wasn’t a single coherent, or upstanding citizen there. You’re bug nuts insane to fall for such pathetic propaganda.
