Professional Perverts

What kind of people want to talk dirty to children? Perverts, and also government sex educators. But I repeat myself:

The former Ontario deputy education minister who oversaw the development of a controversial sex-ed program before facing child sex charges will plead guilty to a number of those charges.
Benjamin Levin, born 1952, was arrested in 2013 in the wake of an international child porn sting that led to his North York doorstep. He was not only accused of making and distributing child pornography, but also of arranging for a sexual offense with a child, and with possessing and accessing child pornography.
Levin’s lawyer Clayton Ruby confirmed Friday in court that his client will plead guilty to some of the seven charges, without clarifying which ones, reported the Toronto Star. Ruby also indicated that a guilty plea means there will be no trial.
Levin will be sentenced in March.
Under his watch as Ontario’s top education official from 2004 to 2009, Levin oversaw the development of an update to the provincial sex-education curriculum. Critics immediately slammed the proposal for encouraging the early sexualization of children and promoting a homosexual agenda.
Under the umbrella of “sexual diversity,” the curriculum teaches children to question whether they are a boy or a girl, about masturbation, oral sex, and ‘diverse’ family structures. After strong backlash from outraged parents the curriculum was shelved by then-Premier Dalton McGuinty in 2010.
After Levin’s arrest, Premier Kathleen Wynne, herself an open lesbian, tried to distance Levin from the sex-ed curriculum, saying at the time he had no direct role in writing it.
Critics expect the latest sex-ed curriculum proposed by Wynne to largely resemble its shelved predecessor. Wynne has stated that the curriculum, slated for all publicly funded schools next fall, will teach children about giving “sexual consent” and what she calls “healthy relationships.” . . .

The guy in charge of developing the sex-ed curriculum is a child molester, but don’t worry about that, says his boss, the lesbian.

Hello, Cultural Marxism:

In 1919, Georg Lukacs became Deputy Commissar for Culture in the short-lived Bolshevik Bela Kun regime in Hungary. He immediately set plans in motion to de-Christianize Hungary. Reasoning that if Christian sexual ethics could be undermined among children, then both the hated patriarchal family and the Church would be dealt a crippling blow. Lukacs launched a radical sex education program in the schools. Sex lectures were organized and literature handed out which graphically instructed youth in free love (promiscuity) and sexual intercourse while simultaneously encouraging them to deride and reject Christian moral ethics, monogamy, and parental and church authority. All of this was accompanied by a reign of cultural terror perpetrated against parents, priests, and dissenters.

In 1919, these people called themselves Bolsheviks. Today they call themselves “feminists.” These radical anti-Christian perverts have taken over government schools. Parents who send their children to government schools are complicit in this evil.

Under the umbrella of “sexual diversity,” the curriculum teaches children to question whether they are a boy or a girl, about masturbation, oral sex, and ‘diverse’ family structures.

Of course, there are only certain people who possess the received wisdom necessary to present such lessons to children. Clearly, those people do not include parents, who are undoubtedly chained to a patriarchal, traditional family model, where children are boys or girls and reared to assume responsible roles in society. Rather, the illuminati are those which seek to enlighten the youth, and what better way to do that than to engage in a little extra-curricular “lab work.”

It’s here in the U.S., too. If parents don’t see it, they’re not paying attention. Get your kids out of the public schools today! Home school or find a decent parochial school which teaches your values. Every minute you delay causes more destruction to your children’s soul. Cost is irrelevant. Sell what you don’t need. Just get your kids out!

A lot of stuff hides in fake “woe is me” anti-oppression narratives and is seamlessly mainstreamed in our culture through misplaced compassion and naivete.

This core of gender intersectionalism hides perversion, hate speech, racism, sexism and supremacy. It claims for itself the status of a culture which, were we to follow its tenets, would allow for a new golden age of tolerance and equality. That is a sham. It is a suicide cult which can’t even reproduce itself without the “performed” heterosexuality it despises. It can’t even maintain the Constitution let alone create one.

It occurs to me that these people have been teaching “sex ed” – and constantly pushing the boundaries of the curriculum – for years. As I understand it, the idea was to teach kids to, if they had to have sex at all, to at least take precautions to prevent pregnancy and disease.

    Um… How’s that worked out?

About as well as the War on Poverty? The government’s efforts to “improve” education and literacy rates?

    And now this…

Home schooling looks better and better every day.

Well, if they can successfully persuade children to “question whether they are a boy or a girl” — and we’ll ignore the writer’s obvious unfamiliarity with grammar — and basically reduce normal heterosexuality, such should reduce pregnancies.

It wasn’t how we thought that they’d go about it, but I guess that we should have known.

Home schooling still has to pass certain educational standards, and the next step will be to require parents to educate their children about how good and normal homosexuality is, because, if they don’t, why their children will grow up to be bigoted and broken adults!

Our exalted progressive betters are looking way beyond that already.

Erwin Chemerinsky, the dean of UC Irvine Law School, looks forward to the day when private school, parochial school, and home schooling are all outlawed and every child must be forced to attend public school:

“My proposal is simple, although unrealistic at this point in American history. First, every child must attend public school through high school. There will be no private schools, no parochial schools, and no home schooling.”

The movement to destroy home schooling an parochial schools has been supported by the NEA for decades. I have personal knowledge of this movement, and how the NEA’s agenda regarding these things in the public schools has led to where we are now. I cannot count the number of arguments I’ve had with people over the years about my decision over 20 years ago to remove my children from that system.

It is infinitely worse now. It is an abomination. I cannot emphasize this enough: If you love your children and are worried about their immortal souls, remove them from public schools.

  13. RS
    January 23rd, 2015 @ 3:11 pm

We were typing at the same time. Spot-on comment, and absolutely true. The NEA published such an agenda 20 years ago, but quickly removed it from its website.

Make no mistake. The agenda is still alive and well.

Remember that a large amount of this push for more and more sexual education isn’t for any educational benefit to the children in schools. Nope its all about make jobs programs for those folks that chose poorly in college and instead of getting a real degree of either STEM or a simple liberal arts humanities degree. They went with a diversity studies program and social philosophy degree (it isn’t a science since there is no quantified abilities in thier reasoning). There is a “angels on pin head” size job market for those sort of degrees. However, if they push that there needs to be a teacher or administrative support position in schools for Transgender or lesbian or polygamy or BDSM then they have a cushy job that effectively is for life with the 6 figure income and retirement benefits (note that the most active radicals in the teacher unions are these administrative non principals) that comes with a civil service job. Also these are the same folks that will be the most aggressive in complaints about pay cuts or benefits cuts in districts that need to enact austerity and they are also the most active in pushing for strikes in districts since they are the most often closeted commies.

Home schooling still has to pass certain educational standards, and the next step will be to require parents to educate their children about how good and normal homosexuality is…

That should be easy to deal with:

Simply teach one’s kids to lie plausibly at the right time. How many of us did that to some degree on another in college? “Professor So-and-so is full of it on this topic, but I know what he WANTS me to write, so…”

I’d already thought of this with regards to global warming:

HALF-PINT: “Teacher said that we’re destroying the planet with carbon bidoxide stuff that comes from our cars.”

SELF: “Teacher is quite wrong, but I suppose you’ve got to give her the answer she wants on your homework and tests. However, I don’t want you to be an ignorant fool, so we will sit down after you get your regular homework done and go over the actual data. And it’s carbon dioxide, by the way.”

HALF-PINT: “Well, that’s what she said it was.”

SELF: “I wouldn’t be a bit surprised. Oh, after our science talk, we’ll discuss why it’s wrong to lie… except when I say it’s OK.”

    Yes, I’m a total moral exemplar…

if they can successfully persuade children to “question whether they are a boy or a girl”

I’m still trying to figure that one out. Maybe my parents were old-fashioned, reactionary, homophobic bigots, but I learned pretty early on that (A) I was a boy and (B) how that was different from a girl.

We had something similar happen in Illinois; Keith Farnham, state senator that had co-sponsored a couple of anti-child pornography bills, gets busted for……..possessing child pornography. A LOT of child pornography. He pled guilty in December and, being 68 years old and in poor health, will probably die in prison.

And, yeah, he’s a Democrat. They’ll probably name a child-care center after him.

I personally think so, but in Trop v. Dulles, 356 U.S. 86 (1958), Chief Justice Earl Warren said: “The [Eighth] Amendment must draw its meaning from the evolving standards of decency that mark the progress of a maturing society.”

Which essentially allows for anything these days. It certainly allows for Lena Dunham.

Then again, a case could be made that this is not a maturing society, but a devolving one.

I agree. I am willing to excuse the hyperbole about “complicity in evil” because I effectively agree with the underlying premise: that the public schools are increasingly a vehicle for indoctrinating children with some pretty stupid (global warming) if not outright goofy (“You can choose to be a boy or a girl!”) ideas, and that parents are well-advised to keep their kids out of them.

I will say, however, that though Half-pint is a few years away from school, she will likely go to at least the local grammar school. We researched very carefully before we bought our house in the district and found that it is one of the two best in the county, and this includes the (hideously expensive) private schools. We thought about home schooling, but we both work unpredictable schedules (thank God for grandparents) and figure that won’t work well, though she will certainly attend “Mommy-Daddy School” in addition to her public school.

The key, I think, is for the parents to keep a very close eye on what their kids are doing in school and, as required, offer competing information, deprogramming, protest or, in extremis, pull them out.

Hippie values may be the flaw, but can also be the remedy. My parents taught me to question everything, distrust authority, and think for myself; TV was excellent practice (both the commercials and the shows themselves). They still eventually put me in parochial schools, as soon as they could afford it — but that was just so I would actually learn something during the day, and not just be marking time…
