Facts Are the New Hate

Posted on | February 7, 2015 | 65 Comments

In Canada, a group called “Emerging Leaders” proclaims its mission to create “a more vibrant, inclusive, and dynamic . . . community for the future” in London, Ontario. If you suspect “vibrant, inclusive, and dynamic” are just a roundabout way of saying flamboyantly gay, you’ve probably heard about the survey these Emerging Leaders conducted “to examine attitudes in London’s queer community and understand its demographics.” Their theory is that “a key to shifting from London’s declining manufacturing economy into a diverse, innovative, knowledge sector economy” is to make their town as queer-friendly as the Castro district of San Francisco during the annual Gay Pride Parade.

Alas, the Emerging Leaders survey of the local “LGBTQ community” found that “only 16.1% of respondents fully agree that they feel safe and able to express their sexuality while walking in public in London.” This allegedly hostile climate of homophobia, said the Emerging Leaders, is “troubling,” and they urged “improving tolerance of London’s queer community . . . through increasing the opportunities for LGBTQ community members to meet in public spaces.”

Whether or not turning Ontario into the Queer Capital of Canada actually would be good for the economy, you can understand why some skeptics might object to this idea, especially as it involved depicting the area’s non-queer residents as dangerously violent bigots. In response to the Emerging Leaders survey, local conservative radio talk show host Andrew Lawton posted this information to his Facebook page:

Number of sexual-orientation motivated
hate crimes in Canada per year: 185
Number of HIV/AIDS infections from
men having sex with men in Canada per year: 1450
Who is the real enemy?

Apparently, these are Facts You’re Not Allowed to Mention in Canada, and Lawton was forced to issue an online apology.

Alas, the local Diversity Fascists were not sufficiently appeased, and station manager Nathan Smith suspended Lawton’s program:

Perhaps, in the politest, most civil way possible, it would be a good idea to remind AM980’s Nathan Smith that until Andrew is reinstated, listeners will stop buying products and services advertised on the station. It might also be a good idea to remind some of the station’s advertisers of that.

Wonderful post, Mr. McC. Hatefully factual.

I clearly understood what was meant by “who is the real enemy”. If gay men in Canada should have *anything* to be more afraid of, the numbers insist, it would be HIV/AIDS infections. But we’re not allowed to say that.

Just what constitutes expressing one’s sexuality in public? Because I am not in favor of *anyone* feeling comfortable doing that kind of thing where I might see it, no matter what their orientation is. Get a room!

It means “active, open, celebration.” Anything less, including indifference will be punished. Sexual deviance can only be viewed as an unalloyed “good” in society. It’s dangers must be ignored/whitewashed so that the deviants won’t feel bad about themselves. Of course, that works about as well as ignoring a minor tooth ache.

Many times I have said homosexuality is a a deadly life-style and little short of “suicide-by-sex” based on CDC figures. And virtually every time I have made that post, I am pilloried as a hater and homophobe.

If I really was a hater and a homophobe I would helping homosexuals spread their disease by opening a gay bar or bath house. Instead, I try to warn them of the dangers of their lifestyle and that just won’t do.

Homosexuality is truly vile behavior. It is NOT just a bunch of well-groomed, well-dressed, sensitive men sitting around, reading poetry to one another. But that is what they would have us believe, at least in the old days.

Thanks! Support appreciated. We need to fix this.

BTW: What Andrew didn’t mention was the rate of domestic violence between gay couples. Stats are hard to come by because it would mean airing their dirty laundry (shut up) in public, but I imagine gays are more likely to be “bashed” in their own homes than on the streets.

Violence of all types affects the “transgender” mob at an inexplicably horrendous rate… Only a small fraction of this is attributable to “hate crimes”! I’ve read that just today that latest celebrity tranny freak, Bruce Jenner, was involved a fatal automobile accident…

Canada is the closest thing we have to Orwell’s nightmare of 1984. The U.K. isn’t far behind. Only the First Amendment is staving off a similar fate for America and that resolve among the rank and file is crumbling. We seem intent on putting failure in charge of the West. Eventually that will lead to either world war or American compliance to non-interference demands in certain spheres of geographical influence. It will probably be the latter as that will likely coincide with a breathtaking demographic overturn of America from what it was to a gentrified version of the Third World. That won’t last either – decline is never static. China and Russia are the success stories of the future due to the simple absence of political correctness. Eventually their success will attract the Third World hordes. Without guilt to subvert their own societies, they’ll likely machine gun illegal boats full of aliens rather than set up depots to let them filter into their lands.

If you are forced out of the public square because you dared to call sodomy disgraceful, unnatural behavior, that is indeed political correctness. Capitalism already spoke. So, “capitalism” is responsible for removing a show where the host indicated that there were 185 sexual-orientation based hate crimes in Canada per year, a fact you do not dispute. That means that in a country of over 35.5 million people, (of whom, five percent are LGBT, i.e.1.775 million), there is a 1 in over 9500 chance of being the victim of a sexual assault.

Yet, this minority feels it is unsafe in spite of those facts, and demands nonspecific and/or nonsensical changes within a community to accommodate those changes. (What does ” increasing the opportunities for LGBTQ community members to meet in public spaces” mean? Are there public spaces closed to them? Are they denied access to public spaces, where, oh say, model railroad aficionados are allowed?)

These are facts. These are legitimate questions. A small minority silenced the recitation of those facts and the asking of those questions. It did so, because the facts and the answers demonstrate their beef is ludicrous.

It is not about capitalism, because by definition, unless the five percent of LGBT Canadians include the 51% of the buying power in Canada. It is about silencing dissent from march of the Progressive agenda.

Your misdirection is cute. Your cursing on the internet is precious. Alas, it won’t work here.

Fact #2- When you parade your sexual preferences around in public, be

Short answer, no. Long answer, there are two approaches to that: cryptography and parallel infrastructure.

The former approach is currently being used by what is called the “dark web,” sending encrypted packets of data through routers that the Feds can sniff, and I don’t trust it. I’m intrinsically curious, but I will hold myself in check when it comes to the possibility of my life being ruined by sniffing around the wrong place.

The latter approach involves something like the laptops for Africa program — mental note, need to look into its progress — which was, among other things, going to use each one as a transceiver. Each one would extend the internet by not only receiving the internet, but also broadcasting it.

However, even if you could solve all of the technical problems, you could never solve the social problem of filtering access to the network. As far as the soft despotism of filtering access to data, fine, we can distribute it more no prob. When it comes to the possibility of being raped and imprisoned because the government knows who dissents, just ask the losing side in the last Iranian election.

I hope you’re not implying that the rise of the gay cheerleaders is an evolutionary leap forward for society. I would make the case that it’s the opposite, moral entropy on display, the collapse of civilized society into broken and degraded parts.
