Hey, @natashavc, Sorry Your Dishonest Scott Walker Smear Got Breitbarted
Posted on | February 28, 2015 | 51 Comments
Breitbart (verb) — to expose dishonesty or corruption in a way that destroys the elite media’s preferred narrative, especially when done by a citizen-journalist.
Example: “Brian Cates totally Breitbarted that Walker smear.”
20 seconds of Googling would have cleared up what was going on here, but it was apparently more important to some to rush a piping hot new Walker smear out the door before doing any due diligence.
Jezebel’s “senior political reporter” Natasha Vargas-Cooper got Breitbarted, exposed as a dishonest and corrupt partisan hack, by a guy who did 20 seconds of Googling. Darleen Click:
“But hey, facts don’t matter when a White Patriarchal Werewolf must be defeated at all costs!”
Congrats again to @Rufus_GB @drawandstrike — somewhere, Andrew Breitbart is smiling. https://t.co/StyzJ8eBJC DESTROY THE NARRATIVE! #tcot

Is @natashavc a lesbian feminist, a Marxist feminist or merely an ordinary LYING feminist? http://t.co/72sqNXK3EE @darleenclick #tcot

Feminists and Democrats have so much in common — no standards, no integrity and no shame. Their sole principle is the selfish pursuit of power. Somebody should write a book about this.

Is there a difference between lesbian feminist, a Marxist feminist or an ordinary LYING feminist? They are all seriously deranged!
February 28th, 2015 @ 12:13 pm
Semantically, yes.
In practice, no.
February 28th, 2015 @ 12:36 pm
The difference between semantics and practice, while vast in practice, is rooted in “the essential paradigm of creating partially situated
identities out of actual or potential social reality in terms
of canonical forms of human contact, thus renormalizing the phenomenology
of narrative space and requiring the naturalization of the intersubjective
cognitive strategy, and thereby resolving the dialectics of metaphorical
thoughts, each problematic to the other, collectively redefining
and reifying the paradigm of the parable of the model of the metaphor.”

You forgot “angry” and “bitter”. Every female supremacist is sharpening their battleaxe on those grindstones.
February 28th, 2015 @ 12:58 pm
Say that five times real fast.

It seems that every day the real Daily Beast is becoming more like Evelyn Waugh’s fictitious Daily Beast from his 1938 novel Scoop. I’m pretty sure this is where our sadly real version The Daily Beast got it’s name.
Waugh wrote of the character Wenlock Jakes a “star reporter” –
Why, once Jakes went out to cover a revolution in one of the Balkan capitals. He overslept in his carriage, woke up at the wrong station, didn’t know any different, got out, went straight to an hotel, and cabled off a thousand-word story about barricades in the streets, flaming churches, machine-guns answering the rattle of his typewriter as he wrote, a dead child, like a broken doll, spreadeagled in the deserted roadway below his window — you know.

RSM,
Remember the last time Ms. Natasha Vargas-Cooper committed journalism?
http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2015/02/ken-silverstein-the-intercept-115586_Page3.html#.VPIM3-EbKXd
“In my final months, I helped edit and write a few stories for The
Intercept with Natasha Vargas-Cooper about the wildly popular podcast
Serial. Natasha landed two key interviews with figures in the murder
case and she wrote a series of stories that I helped edit and shared a
co-byline on two of them. The stories challenged, directly and
indirectly, the narrative laid out in the unexpected podcast hit by the
makers of This American Life. The podcast’s narrative followed
the investigation and prosecution of Baltimore teen Adnan Syed, who was
convicted and is serving a life sentence for the murder by strangulation
of a teenage girl (and who dumped her body in a park in Baltimore). Serial’s thesis was straightforward: Syed did not get a fair trial.”
Yea all her lefty friends dropped her like a hot potato because she showed the American way was right with justice in this case.
So it would only make sense for a disgraced reported to head to Jezebel and try to rebuild her creed via a hack job like this.
February 28th, 2015 @ 2:24 pm
Disgraced by doing her job right, so she had to do it wrong to make up for it? That’s a sick industry.
February 28th, 2015 @ 2:35 pm
Remember its left wingers in the industry. So yea anything that shows how the “Man” did it right, well that is wrong. Since its the wrong “Man” they are supporting.
February 28th, 2015 @ 2:37 pm
Another stellar quote from the same article:
“I remember during one meeting speaking up out of exasperation because we
were so far behind schedule, saying something like, “Journalism is not
rocket science,” meaning, “For God’s sake, writing and editing and fact
checking and posting stories on a website is really a pretty easy thing
to do.” And Pierre, clearly annoyed, replied by saying something like,
“No, it’s not, but it is rocket science to find an audience.” True to a
point, but you can’t find an audience without posting stories for people
to read.
Read more: http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2015/02/ken-silverstein-the-intercept-115586_Page2.html#ixzz3T4NgJ2PQ”
editing and fact checking aren’t rocket science? Then pray why does so many reporters have problems with those simple things.

Because they fall far, far below rocket scientists in intelligence.
February 28th, 2015 @ 3:00 pm
So… it’s okay to lie if you can blame the person you’re lying about for not explaining himself well enough? For bad optics?
Sort of like it’s okay to call a woman a slut because of the “bad optics” of wearing revealing clothing? Hey, not MY fault she had bad optics!
February 28th, 2015 @ 3:02 pm
Feminism was created by spoiled, bored, rich, women with servants. At that very moment my grandmothers were working as servants.
February 28th, 2015 @ 3:06 pm
It is true that they don’t have to be smart, but many actually are. They’re just too lazy. They don’t care whether their narrative fits reality, whereas a rocket that doesn’t fit reality will get you fired.

Yes, but you can abreviate to “shriking harpy.”

I think some reporters follow the “never look back” principle of writing.
Hack it together and ship it. Let the ombudsman deal with the typos and poor fact-checking reported by readers.
March 1st, 2015 @ 1:39 am
i believe in street slang, this is what is known as “being put on blast.”

Bad optics is the PC liberal endorsed approach to victim shaming.
March 1st, 2015 @ 2:07 am
Remember the Grubber Rule, it’s okay to lie becauses Americans are stupid. Grubber didn’t create the rule, he just gave it publicity.
March 1st, 2015 @ 5:03 am
RSM: I’ve been following your work ever since the Kate Hunt debacle. The amount of research you put into your articles is astounding and I can’t thank you enough for doing the dirty work so that us readers can be informed without completely losing our minds – the deeper you look into this rabbit hole the more it fucks with your mind, I’ve tried and had to slow down because it really pulls a number on you as you realize how far this thing goes. I will definitely be buying your book as soon as I can. Keep at it sir, you’re doing God’s work.
March 1st, 2015 @ 5:04 am
Blown the fuck out.
March 1st, 2015 @ 6:18 am
Well, they’re certainly up to the job of criticizing what actual rocket scientists wear while landing spaceships on comets.
So there’s that.
March 1st, 2015 @ 6:19 am
Must suck to get Breitbarted while you’re busy Grubering.
March 1st, 2015 @ 7:51 am
And some people think Dilbert is satire, rather than serious reportage.
March 1st, 2015 @ 9:40 am
My old standby applies to Natasha Vargas-Cooper:
If three names or a hyphen you see,
let her be;
for batsh®t crazy is she.
March 1st, 2015 @ 10:56 am
And now…she apologized after asserting she wouldn’t.
Once again, the Throne of Skulls is triumphant. And once again, the victim offered itself up. People ask what it is about Scott Walker. The answer is simple: Flat out, Walker wins. And he does it without ever losing his cool, his message, or his sense of what he believes in. That’s a good thing. And I can accept some philosophical difference with a guy whose honest about the distinctions…and wins.
March 1st, 2015 @ 12:26 pm
OK, Stacy, I killed a tree and bought your book on paper. Now git a shave before you hit the talk show circuit so’s you don’t get mistaken for a roadie for Rednex.

Unless we’re talking about very old families where a daughter married for money in the Victorian era or there’s a great man with only daughters, like the Duke of Marlborough, hyphenation is a being pompous twit.

[…] Nice Deb has video from Saturday, and wonders “I don’t know how he has been able to keep his own sanity after immersing himself into the creepy and disturbing world of radical feminism.” I don’t know how he could stand it either, I could barely get through the back cover of one of the 52 feminist textbooks he subjected himself to. I joke that I read his posts on the subject as a way of reaffirming my own sanity, but this is a serious subject. As Stacy noted “They want to change the way we think of basic concepts of masculine and feminine.” They want to deny nature and biology. They say that female heterosexuality is abnormal, that it’s a PTSD response to “the heteronormative patriarchy.” Seriously, these people are nuts, but they have a ton of influence. Watch out for them. […]
