Her Fakeness, Hillary Clinton

Posted on | April 16, 2015 | 75 Comments

David Martosko reports at the Daily Mail:

Hillary Clinton’s astroturf candidacy is in full swing in Iowa.
Her Tuesday morning visit to a coffee shop in LeClaire, Iowa was staged from beginning to end, according to Austin Bird, one of the men pictured sitting at the table with Mrs. Clinton.
Bird told Daily Mail Online that campaign staffer Troy Price called and asked him and two other young people to meet him Tuesday morning at a restaurant in Davenport, a nearby city.
Price then drove them to the coffee house to meet Clinton after vetting them for about a half-hour.
The three got the lion’s share of Mrs. Clinton’s time and participated in what breathless news reports described as a ’roundtable’ — the first of many in her brief Iowa campaign swing.
Bird himself is a frequent participant in Iowa Democratic Party events. He interned with President Obama’s 2012 presidential re-election campaign, and was tapped to chauffeur Vice President Joe Biden in October 2014 when he visited Davenport.
‘What happened is, we were just asked to be there by Troy,’ Bird said Wednesday in a phone interview. . . .
The other two, he confirmed, were University of Iowa College Democrats president Carter Bell and Planned Parenthood of the Heartland employee Sara Sedlacek.
‘It was supposed to be a strategy meeting,’ Bird recalled, ‘to get our thoughts about issues. But then all of a sudden he says, “Hey, we have Secretary Clinton coming in, would you like to go meet her?”‘
‘And then we got in a car — Troy’s car — and we went up to the coffee house, and we sat at a table and then Hillary just came up and talked with us.’

You can read the whole thing. The point isn’t so much that Democrats are being brought in by the campaign as “plants” at these events, but rather that the media are playing along and pretending that the events (and the people at the events) are “spontaneous.” That is to say, the media are just there to provide free campaign publicity for the Democrat. Meanwhile, the real journalism is in the National Enquirer:

The ENQUIRER learned the list of Hillary’s lesbian lovers includes a beauty in her early 30s who has often traveled with Hillary; a popular TV and movie star; the daughter of a top government official; and a stunning model who got a career boost after allegedly sleeping with Hillary. Hillary made the huge mistake of mixing public and private messages while using her personalized email server – before risking a massive scandal by refusing to make the documents public. . . .

(Hat-tip: Instapundit.) Can we believe this supermarket tabloid? Just remember it was the National Enquirer that broke the John Edwards cheating scandal. They’ve got more credibility than Rolling Stone.

When the Enquirer broke the story about former Senator Edwards, they specifically identified Mr Edwards’ mistress. If the Enquirer is able to identify Mrs Clinton’s alleged girlfriends with that much detail, then the tabloid must have the names. To reach the credibility that their story concerning Mr Edwards had, they have to name names.

Of course, they could be doing an O’Keefe here: wait until the story is challenged, and then name the names.

I almost hate to give the Enquirer credit, but I suspect they have the names.

I wonder if they have a taste for politician blood (metaphorically speaking) now. I mean, after nailing John Edwards’s hide to the wall, I can’t imagine they wouldn’t want to do it again.

It’s fascinating that she and her handlers believe that they can do this sort of thing without anyone finding out. Of course, the MSM will give her a pass, but average Americans, even LIVs, are going to see her for the phony she is, if they don’t see it already.

Hillary was invited to a homosexual wedding in Chicago which made the local news. Why was this in the news? Because the whole world revolves around homosexuals.

The REAL lesbian scandal about Hillary Clinton involves the United Nations 1995 Beijing women’s conference and Professor Charlotte Bunch. The controversy over the U.S. delegation and the radical agenda of the Beijing conference happened before the Internet was a big thing, so a lot of that reporting (by Human Events, National Review, etc.) isn’t online. But the fact is that Bill Clinton subsequently gave a big award to Charlotte Bunch, who is one of the most radical lesbian feminists who ever lived. The connection between the Clintons and this radical agenda will get close scrutiny in 2016, assuming that Hillary’s campaign doesn’t collapse before then.

Because the whole world revolves around homosexuals.

Over the last 30-40 years, we’ve seen a shift in the way homosexuality is portrayed in the media and discussed by the worthies who are the self-appointed arbiters of the cultural zeitgeist. Because homosexuality is, by statistical definition, abnormal, the media has sought to turn that abnormality into a set of positive attributes. That is, homosexuals are described as “more [fill in the blank with positive adjectives],” i.e. “sensitive,” “artistic,” “creative,” “contemplative,” etc. We have moved to a place where those who are abnormal are now deemed to be “seers,” possessed of some secret gnosis which can benefit the rest of us schlubs in flyover-land, if we’d only just excise Leviticus from our sacred texts, turn our AR-15s into inner city daycare centers and buy a few pairs of assless chaps.

If this was to be true, it would be perhaps the only interesting thing about the woman. Honestly, for someone surrounded by scandal since she left college, someone surrounded by a massive number “mysterious” (some might say “fortuitous”) deaths, someone who has been at the center of power for decades, the woman is as boring as a mayonnaise on Wonder Bread sandwich…which may be an insult to mayonnaise and Wonder Bread. So…who will be the first to ask if she ever accompanied Bill on any of those trips to sex slave island?

  9. Bob Belvedere

-I would bet she wasn’t invited because she’d end up cramping Bill’s style and everyone knows she’s such a Debbie Downer.

-As for Hillaria being boring: it’s The Banality Of Evil write large [on her hips and cankles].

Hillary is a technocrat. Substance of her positions aside for a moment, she has steeped herself in minutiae since her college days and it is with that minutiae that she is most comfortable. Second, she suffers from a paranoia typical of most insecure people. She believes that a) no one else is a smart as she and b) therefore, everyone is out to destroy her.

All of those things come through when she attempts to engage in retail politics. Say what you will about her husband, but he had the ability to walk into a general store inToad Suck, Arkansas, and make everyone in the place believe s/he was the most important person in the state. Hillary exudes the attitude that those upon whom she casts her gaze are the most fortunate persons in the vicinity. That does not bode well when you have to pretend to be enjoying a deep fried Snickers bar at the Iowa State Fair.

If they have names, I imagine they’ll wait until they’re challenged, or after a suitable period of time, they’ll publish the names. Having nailed Edwards hide to the shed, I imagine they would love to nail Shrillary’s hide right by his. That would be a far more prestigious hide to display.

I hope that is the case. I expect we won’t know the truth until the LIVs start paying attention in the late stages of the campaign.
Then, Hillary’s poll number will drop “unexpectedly.”
If I’m wrong, especially after 8 years of disastrous Dems rule, then this country is doomed.

As recently as 1998, the print media retained some critical distance from the Democratic Party (and, per, Brent Bozell, their behavior was in contrast with the commercial television networks, who were shills for the Clintons then). As their economic fortunes decline and as the culture of the word merchant element grows monochromatic, they’re all hustling for a government pr gig for themselves (or married to someone who has one). Jay Carney, take it away.

IIRC, Hildebeast once told an audience in New Zealand that she’d been named after Sir Edmund Hillery. Sir Edmund was in 1947 a postal worker who’s never come to the attention of anyone who had not crossed paths with him personally, so you’d have to say Dorothy Rodham was most prescient. Richard Nixon was roasted by Fawn Brodie for this sort of lying, and I think she had far fewer examples to work with.

(The article above notes that seven of Hildebeeste’s great-grandparents were born abroad. True. Six were born in Britain and one in Canada.).

I’ve enjoyed watching her campaign. It’s a glorious trainwreck. The best part was where she came out strongly against the First Amendment. It was breathtakingly hypocritical, and if this is the amendment she was referring to, approaching Bond villain status. You couldn’t hope for a stronger contrast between her and almost any Republican.

I tried (using the increasingly useless google search) to find that picture that showed how the media zoomed way in on Cindy Sheehan and Jesse Jackson “leading” a prayer in Crawford Texas. The photo that shows the whole scene makes it clear that the only ones in the tent were the handful surrounding Sheehan, and about twenty-five photographers and mic holders.

Other than that, there was hardly anyone there. The media went out of their way to craft the narrative that it was a big event.

But my search-fu failed me. Perhaps the photo has been edged off into the dark net.

The point I was gonna underscore is, *that’s what they do.*

Any one of an incumbent administration’s party has faced a head wind after two terms in recent decades. That was not so true in the pre-war period when you had political cycles with a periodicity of 20 years or so, but it has been true since the Democratic Party’s last run of dominance of federal elections dissipated around about 1968. The incumbent party has failed 6x in 7 attempts since the end of the war to win a 3d presidential term. The exception was 1988, one of the minority of presidential campaigns in recent decades (1960 might have been another) wherein campaign tactics were decisive without a doubt.

  41. Art Deco
    April 16th, 2015 @ 1:47 pm

It’s not easy, but the Democrats will be attempting to do something that has not been done before.

    1. Garner a 3d presidential term; and

    2. Do so with a woman who has been an obtrusive presence on the national stage for nearly a quarter century. Lyndon Johnson may have been known to the Capitol Hill press corps that amount of time, but not to ordinary voters anywhere but Texas (and the press covered for him well, failing to report, for example that the President made a campaign speech blotto).

    3. Do so with someone so tainted.

No Democratic President has gotten another Democrat elected President since before the Civil War. In fact, arguably the only Democratic President to get a successor from his party elected President was Andrew Jackson; while Pierce and Buchanan were consecutive Democratic Presidents, Pierce was such a horrible President that the Democratic Party nominated Buchanan instead of the incumbent Pierce.
