General: Military ‘Degraded’ by Obama

Posted on | September 28, 2015 | 56 Comments

Barbara Hollingsworth at CNS News reports:

The military readiness of the United States is being “degraded by social experimentation,” Maj. Gen. Robert Dees (U.S. Army-Ret.) said Saturday at the Values Voter Summit in Washington.
Dees said that the Obama administration’s use of the military for “social engineering” on controversial gay and gender issues is detrimental to the nation’s ability to defend itself.
“Not only are we losing physical readiness to fight, we have to fix the problem of moral readiness,” he said on a panel chaired by Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin (US Army-Ret.).
“I think the moral readiness of our forces is even more important than the physical readiness, which is very low,” Dees later told CNSNews.com. “The moral readiness is degraded by social experimentation within our military.
“In fact, social experimentation is improperly named because it’s not an experiment at all. It’s a top-driven mandate for social agendas that occurs by this administration within the military, which is a captive audience.
“It is not enhancing our readiness; it declines our readiness. We’re spending more time on some of these social engineering projects than we are on developing and maintaining readiness in our force.”

Meanwhile, at People magazine, Susan Keating reports:

Way back in January, long before the first women attended the Army’s elite Ranger School – one of the most grueling military courses in the world — officials at the highest levels of the Army had already decided failure was not an option, sources tell PEOPLE.
“A woman will graduate Ranger School,” a general told shocked subordinates this year while preparing for the first females to attend a “gender integrated assessment” of the grueling combat leadership course starting April 20, sources tell PEOPLE. “At least one will get through.”
That directive set the tone for what was to follow, sources say.
“It had a ripple effect” at Fort Benning, where Ranger School is based, says a source with knowledge of events at the sprawling Georgia Army post. “Even though this was supposed to be just an assessment, everyone knew. The results were planned in advance.”
On Tuesday, PEOPLE revealed that Oklahoma Republican Rep. Steve Russell had asked the Department of Defense for documents about the women who attended Ranger School after becoming concerned that “the women got special treatment and played by different rules,” sources say.

Read the whole thing. It will make your blood boil. These women were the beneficiaries of a deliberate and systematic unfairness intended to achieve a politically approved outcome. The waste of resources involved in this dishonest endeavor — including extra training that required personnel to be specially assigned to prepare the women trainees — was conducted at taxpayer expense. The demoralization of male troops involved in this fraud was not least among the detrimental effects.

While I did not serve in the military, it has been my honor to meet several Rangers in my time. They have been, without exception, remarkable men–intelligent, brave, strong and morally beyond reproach. That makes this situation even worse. Anyone who would accept the Ranger tab without proper qualifications has rendered herself unfit for the honor.

I totally agree with your article except for Obama’s motive being social engineering experimentation. I believe he is truly trying to kill morale and weaken our military in any way he can. His rules of engagement endanger the best trained, most able soldiers we have right along with the least capable who never met the basic requirements. Then, within their closest comrades who should have their back, the weak ones won’t and will cost more lives. And when their backs are against the wall and they need to call for reinforcements they also will remember Bengazi and that no one really has their back as long as this administration continues. I fear for the best of our young soldiers in these circumstances as well as the worst.

No cop in the Chicago Police Department wants a female partner. Imagine being on the South Side with a 300 lb. perp chimping out on you. Do you want a 90 lb. female partner next to you? Or a couple of homos who are going to “hug it out & cry” like they were in a Kentucky county clerk office while you wrestle with life & death in your hands? It’s Reality vs. Liberalism for the military these days, like every other corner in the Fall of America under Obama.

A few years ago I heard Mark Levin talk about how long it took to unwind the unconstrained liberalism of the Carter years. Levin was chief of Staff to Reagan AG Edwin Meese as well as serving in other positions in Dept. of Education and Dept. of Interior. I remember him recalling how the Carter Dept. of Education bought thousands of copies of Saul Alinsky books for “free” distribution to students (public schools I assume) as well as the types of people he met who advocated such things (those people weren’t political appointees so they stayed within the Fed Gov after Reagan’s election). The context being that Reagan’s appointees actually wanted to unwind the Carter administration’s actions whereas some milquetoast “electable” moderate likely would not even try. Heck, Carter could run as establishment GOP today

Anyone who has served as a combat infantryman knows this won’t turn out well. The stress, filth, horror and battlefield trauma has the potential to unbalance the strongest among us.
Putting women who run on emotion, hyper sensitive homosexuals and mentally ill persons who don’t know what they are on the battlefield will lead to needless casualties , peripheral damage to morale and ultimately defeat at the hands of the barbarians at the gate.

My friend on a big city police department stomped a mudhole in a perp’s butt because the a-hole was breaking a female cop’s arm and taking her gun from her. The female cop got mad at my friend after for intervening.

    That PJTV piece was good.

You should check out a recent blog post about the openly homo Sec Army by Weapons Man When the US Isn’t Serious, Who Is?

Friday PM — the usual time for a Data Dump of Shame in DC, because all the overpaid, underworked .gov workers are out of the city and into Beltway traffic in the early afternoon — the Army dumped the name and circumstances of the new Secretary of the Army, and he’s a doozy. The youthful-looking Secretary-designee, Acting Undersecretary Eric Fanning comes by his youthful looks honestly: he’s young (46) and callow, a career midrange bureaucrat without significant executive experience (.pdf), or private-sector experience, although he’s been parked in Democratic lobbying firms during Republican administrations. He has never served in the military and has never displayed much respect for those who do and have. They are there to serve him. He has never held a job in the productive economy.

It’s a good honest perspective from a former Special Forces NCO (combat arms MOS),

There was a shootout where a cop had a female partner. The cop ducked and returned fire but the female partner high-tailed it out the door. Afterwards, he tore her up for abandoning him during a firefight but she claimed she was stepping outside to call for backup.

Now we’re going to have that on the front lines of combat so we can prove how liberal we are.

You read stories like this and you just start shouting “Scum, scum, SCUM”. This sort of thing can be repaired, but some of it requires that the Senate Republican caucus quite playing their shizzy little intramural games, enact sensible parliamentary rules, and put some corrective legislation on a Republican president’s desk. The road to reform will have road-kill on it named AM McConnell.

We know how these egalitarian “reformations” of the military proceed, because we have seen it happen time and again over the last few decades.

First the agitators and their accomplices say that they are just lifting some oppressive restriction and allowing all comers to apply for the position, no matter what their gender. And they promise repeatedly that all applicants and candidates will be held to the same standard regardless.

And then, when not so many women are filling these positions despite the lifting of whatever restriction, we are told that the standards must be “adjusted” so that a “satisfactory” number of women pass and occupy these positions. If you dare suggest that lowering these standards is not a good thing for the military, you are told that these prior standards were just arbitrary, sexist obstructions which have no relevant bearing on professional competence, etc.

It’s worse than he says. Up to age 41, he was a staff aide wherever he worked. He held political patronage jobs, jobs at pr firms, jobs in advocacy bureaux. The one thing he had going for him was that two of these staff jobs would have put him in touch with military issues. There are enough qualifiers in his title at the Navy (“Deputy Undersecretary”) that it’s a bit comical, and not at all clear who or how many people worked under him. His successor is an engineer who worked in the green jobs racket. This fellow Fanning has no vocational schooling whatsoever in his past.

Lesbian Liberation Ideology has only one goal: to rid itself of the “heterosexual matrix” the Patriarchy has used to express their innate misogyny towards women and as a means of control. A half century on and more since it’s creation, LLI has been mainstreamed to the point it is presented as a bland but necessary civil rights issue, it’s original goals still there but shifted from the fringe lunacy it started out as into the office of the Presidency. We can assume the majority of these useful idiots think if you do away with pink/blue then social justice and peace pops out the other side and there’s not much more to it than that. Unfortunately China and Russia have no gender delusions and as we degrade they approach parity. Watching TV shows about Grumman fighter pilots is like watching a lost Golden Age of competence.

It’s not just the US. We’re way ahead of you in Canada. When I joined the Army 25yrs ago, you had to ruck 13km with marching order in 140min. You did it again the next day with less weight but less time.
Nowadays, they have watered down the testing to the point where you do 5 separate exercises none of them lasting more than 3min. It’s pathetic.
This they had to do otherwise the women and fatties would have washed out.

During my service days, women in our unit were permitted ‘shower breaks’ during extended field exercises. There can be no greater evidence that the concept of ‘equality’ between the sexes is total nonsense. They are physically, mentally, and (dare I say), spiritually different. That’s not equal…that’s unequal. Why is it they never push for the total elimination of gender segregation in sports – they want equal pay but not a level playing field?

I am acquainted with Susan Keating (also known as SKK) and she is an honest writer who is quite familiar wit the military and the way it works. I remarked last month that those women were probably given things no man would ever have been give so they could graduate. It’s looking more and more as though the military brass are becoming just as corrupt as the politicians.

She hasn’t made a post to her blog since 10 Sep and I figure shes been sucked up into the controversy around this mess. She wrote about the graduation of those two women and the denizens of her blog suspected something was not kosher. There were red flags flying, and she’s a “bullette” when it comes to the red flag waving.
