‘Uncle Choo-Choo’ Biden Unsure Just Where He Is

Poor ol’ Uncle Choo-Choo, so tragically misunderstood by the peasantry. In his defense, North Carolina and Virginia are adjacent. It’s just that those pesky details, well, they kinda matter in a role as consequential as VP:Then again, maybe Biden is crazy like a fox, and prepping his decision to withdraw from politics to pursue his doctorate Calcium Anthropology (the study of milk-men).

So what surprise VP pick does Soros drop on the Democrat ticket? Hillary Clinton? Al Gore? Dennis Kucinich? Anthony Weiner? Eliot Spitzer? Kirsten Gillibrand? Jerry Brown? The jokes would write themselves, but there is too much at stake. Ain’t funny in the slightest.

    Obama refuses to be shown up, which is why he picked Biden in the first place.  Maybe Debbie Downer fits the profile, but dumping Biden makes it look like Obama made a mistake, and he could never strike a pose for that cutie in the mirror again if entertained such a notion. 

    Saw someone note that the VP debate moderator is a foreign affairs editor, and that might mean trouble for Ryan if the debate tilts to foreign policy.  Biden, of course, is well versed on foreign policy, having been wrong on virtually every issue ever, going back to the nuclear freeze movement.

    Danville, VA, has the most churches per capita in the city limits of any incorporated town or city in the United States.

     Hillary might shake things up, but Obama isn’t letting Billy J. any closer to the White House again.  Manchin might be an interesting choice, but probably wouldn’t even put WV in play.

    Besides, he is up for reelection, and his seat could easily be lost.  West Virginia isn’t in love with Obama no matter who is fetching his low-fat lattes.

    No, you’re right, Joe can’t deliver W.Va. But he would be the right sort of guy to have on the ticket if Obama doesn’t want to continue looking so incredibly weak.

    I’m betting old Joe wants to be President even more than he wants to be the next Prince of Pork. But being a Senate lifer is something he’d love, too.
