Jeremiah Wright Rates A Second Look In The Light Of D’Souza’s 2016

Red State serves the mix:

If we’re subscribing to the 2016 thesis that BHO Junior is informed by Senior’s anti-colonial politics, then Jeremiah Wright’s black liberation theology dovetails nicely with the anti-Colonialism to demonize the United States and offer the country up as a target for punishment. That’s a fairly crude and simplistic connection of dots. Let’s call it a theory for now, and see how much explanatory power the idea has with respect to Obama’s record, for example, acting as a roadblock to the Keystone XL pipeline.

Generalizing a bit, it seems that a vast amount of our political dialogue is what I’ll call argumentum ad culpam (for which coinage I feel kinda bad). The capacity to manipulate feelings of guilt in you positively  (the 1787 U.S. Constitution was silent on the scourge of slavery) and negatively (you may not be culpable for your monstrous hormonal urges) is weapons-grade political plutonium, currently dropping economic bombs on a country near you.

When having a discussion with another, pay attention to what degree the arguments in play are straightforward appeals to how you should feel bad about something to which you’ve no connection, and how we ought to expand government to ‘solve’ this matter.

Update II: why am I surprised, Bill? I guess I’m taken aback by the complicity of the mainstream media, not to team up and get their dude elected, but to commit suicide like this.

I try to catch myself during debates or discussions for whenever I start feeling a certain way (usually bad) and there’s no rhyme or reason for it that isn’t based in fact then I know I’m getting played. Then I really get mad.

Of course it is worth a second view. The election will probably not turn on Jeremiah Wright, but who knows, the good Reverend may go off again on how he was thrown under the bus by Obama.

Can’t see how that works. I’ve never felt guilt for things I had no responsibility for. For things I’ve done and things I’ve failed to do, sure — but for things that others did with no input from me? For things that were done centuries before my birth? Nope.

I don’t think there is much doubt that anti-colonialism is a huge factor, meshed with the marxist/communist writings of his father. Obama Senior’s close friend in the video said both he and Sr. hated it. Brother George said Kenya would be far better off had Whites stayed awhile. The immediate return of Churchill’s bust and the oil aid he has given to countries he considers to be harmed by colonialism make sense. He despises the power of America around the globe.

We have hate brewing for Whites in many Black Liberation Theology churches around the country. We would be shocked to know the depth of that mantra.

People I tell about this often refuse to believe me, even when I inform them that I see it first hand in the branch of government I work for.

And, of course, it’s also being taught, albeit more stealthily, in our schools [both public and private].
