Paris Hilton: So Rich, She Don’t Need You

Political Correctness requires that no one ever say anything to hurt the feelings of Designated Victim Groups, and even mega-celebrities are not exempt from this stupid rule:

Paris Hilton has been caught on tape making homophobic and derogatory statements about gay men who have random sex with strangers even stating “most of them probably have AIDS.” . . .
[A] spokesperson for Hilton said:
“Paris Hilton’s comments were to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life threatening disease. The conversation became heated, after a close gay friend told her in a cab ride, a story about a gay man who has AIDS and is knowingly having unprotected sex. He also discussed a website that encourages random sex by gay men with strangers. As she was being shown the website her comments were in reference to those people promoting themselves on the site. . . . Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay community and would never purposefully make any negative statements about anyone’s sexual orientation.”
On the audio Paris says at one point: “Gay guys are the horniest people in the world. They’re disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS.”
The heiress was in Manhattan for New York Fashion Week and in the early morning hours of Friday, September 7, Paris’ remarks were caught on tape by a cab driver, when her pal, who is an openly gay male model, is heard in the audio clip describing Grindr, an app that gay men use to locate other gay men for hookups.

A few relevant factual reference points:

  1. In describing men who hook up with complete strangers via the Internet, Paris said “most of them probably have AIDS.”
  2. This was not offered as a scientifically valid estimate, but a rather common-sense health concern, related to the promiscuous behavior described.
  3. Butt-fucking isn’t healthy. Excuse the blunt language, boys and girls, but the rectum is not a sexual organ. It is foul and unsanitary, and if you have some kind of weird obsessive-compulsive fetish about doing it in the hiney-hole, you need to seek help.
  4. Yes, Point 3 applies equally to you hetero guys who, to satisfy your porn-influenced kinky craving, coerce or cajole your girlfriends into taking it up the poop chute.
  5. The Gay Thought Police who are trying to turn Paris Hilton into a latter-day Anita Bryant, merely for expressing a revulsion at the promiscuous indulgence in anonymous sex, are engaged in a form of dishonest fascistic propaganda.
  6. Attempting to take a single de-contextualized comment and turn it into evidence of “hate” — to define people according to selective distortion — is probably not going to endear you to any honest person who has hitherto been your ally.
  7. Paris Hilton has so much money she doesn’t need to kowtow to political pressure groups, and if she’s being nice to gay people, it’s not because she can be blackmailed. Even if she never again appeared on TV, she’s still richer than you.

You people need to get a life, stop harassing @ParisHilton and — please! — seek help for your weird hiney-hole fetish.

I have a hard time believing you are too dumb to tell why a sexual practice that carries an extremely high risk of disease and/or permanent injury, and one that doesn’t are different.

Hint: It’s because one carries an extremely high risk of disease and/or permanent injury, and the other doesn’t.

I believe it’s connected with Keith Obermann.

This is true, but we’re talking about a culture that is not averse, in large part, to numerous partners.
