Crazy Uncle Joe Biden Campaigns in Ohio, Apparently Thinks He’s in Iowa

All these darned Midwestern states look alike!

During a campaign stop in Ohio on Wednesday, Vice President Joe Biden forgot where he was. Again.
“I mean literally,” Biden said (probably meaning “figuratively”), “ladies and gentlemen, this is a guy [Mitt Romney] who’s running all the ads here in Iowa saying that he’s going to get tough on China.”
“I’ve had the great privilege of being able to be in this state now, I think it’s my 25th event (I’m not sure), but I’ve been all over this state.”

Good grief. Can we triple security on the President until Romney is inaugurated?

He didn’t say IOWA, silly. He just flubbed the pronunciation of OIHO.

I get the impression that some of the women behind the VP were wishing they were somewhere else.

Hey, it’s a four-letter state name with an I followed by an O. Can we give him half-credit?

I thought it was pronounced “I-da-HOE.”

In 2008 I used to laugh uproariously when people expressed doubt as to someone like Sarah Palin being “one heartbeat away.” As if she couldn’t be Veep and Prez simultaneously, and do a better job than both of these clowns.

Well “shuck and Jive”! How the heck can he be Vice President of the United States when he doesn’t have a clue where he is?

I always pronounce Ohio as “eye-oh-ho.” Just for because.

Notice nobody asks him to spell either state.

I wish he’d said “Michigan” – then Romney would win Ohio by 50 percentage points.

Go easy, he probably really thinks the state’s name is spelled OIHO.
