I’d like to propose ‘glenren’, a contraction of ‘Glenn Reynolds’, as a special term for the blend of faux naïveté, weapons-grade sarcasm, and systematic understatement so brutally employed by The Blogfather:

You know, I’m beginning to wonder if they tried to fake the numbers upward for the election or something.

Usage: “That there was an intense glenren.”

    Shorter “glenren”:

    Obama’s administration, with their control of the present, controlled the past (or more specifically the perception of the past), and by so doing controlled the future, i.e. the election.
