Don’t feel bad…we inflicted James Clyburn and Lindsey Graham on the country, but we redeemed ourselves with Tim Scott, Jeff Duncan and Trey Gowdy. Oh and lets not forget Jim DeMint before his retirement.

I concur, and Darleen has my sympathies. I have Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray to apologize for.

But without any head tilt. I categorically refuse to offer any sort of head tilt.

I apologize for John McCain. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.

I did vote for his Libertarian opponent, knowing that he could not win, but also knowing that losing my vote for McCain would not put a Dem in office.

I second Ms. Click’s apology. If the CA GOP didn’t work as hard to keep conservatives out of power as Feinstein does, we might have been able to accomplish something.

Well, I come from the Land of Lincoln. So I really *suck*. Let’s see: Blagojevich, Jarrett, Emanuel, Durbin, and that other guy, you know, Barry (hangs head in shame)

I reject Darleen’s apology. I appreciate her thoughtfulness, but she did nothing wrong. I am fairly certain she never cast her vote for DiFi.

As one of Jim Clyburn’s alleged constituents, I would like to point out that we were sacrificed to create a “safe minority district” on the assumption Republicans would sweep the rest. At the time it was thought the execrable John Spratt would retire for health reasons, but he hung on another NINE terms, we were beginning to think we had another Jim Moran festering.

No, let those who put these miscreants in office apologize, they are the one who owe it. Darleen and the rest of us who tried to stop them are every bit as afflicted by our “representation” as the rest of you.

I wish to apologize for my state having inflicted a bad comedian on the United States Senate. At least he’s in the right class as the rest of the lot.

Darleen is the only reason I have Protein Wisdom bookmarked. She is a gem.

Heh. I saw the tweet and immediately had one of my “plumbers” appropriate it, file off the serial numbers and re-paint it. With the paint still damp, I used it on Twitter (garnering a follow from @DarleneClick and gaining her a follow from @JoeTheFatman).
A delicious phrase, one I will well remember and use judiciously.

Get Rep. Mick Mulvaney into Graham’s seat, and all will be forgiven.
