The Huffington Post Lies About Steven Crowder’s CPAC Monologue

I happened to be in the ballroom for the remarks made by Crowder, as mis-reported by the Puffington Host:

Steven reports:

So HuffingtonPost is outright lying and trying to slander me, and I could really use support.
As you know, Ashley Judd has recently been heard equating both mining and purchasing Apple Products to “rape.” So my commentary at CPAC on her stupid, and insensitive comparisons was exactly this
“This just in, Ashley Judd just tweeted that purchasing apple products is akin to rape… from her iPhone”
I followed it up with “Rape? Really, now she knows what my mind felt like after Divine Secrets of YaYaSisterhood”
Clearly taking aim at Ashley Judd for her stupid rape comments. Instead, HuffPo says that I made a “rape joke” about Ashley Judd. Obviously this narrative is important, and I would reeeaaally welcome some any support in resetting it.

Steven is one of the good guys, as evidenced by this foul assault. Maybe somebody at the Puffington Host thinks it’s funny or something, but this is precisely the sort of nonsense propaganda that feeds into the even uglier #WarOnWomen meme.

Fall off the planet, Puffington Host. Let’s rally all of the blogs to support Steven and point out that these liars lie.

Update: welcome, Instapundit readers!

Update II: Ed Driscoll introduces the important Lefty verb “Laphamize,” which is achieved by deciding upon a narrative for an opposition event, writing an anachronous review, and then passing it off as reporting.

Update III: Counterargument from Screed of Momus, more support from the Lonely Conservative.

UPDATE IV (RSM): Yeah, I unloaded a few hundred words — including “hired liars” — about HuffPo & Co.

BTW,this is all the proof of her ‘Rape”,from her own mouth:
“There was a creepy Frenchman who hung out at the bar … He offered me a ride home … I was so young and confused that I had no idea that what followed was rape,”

How insane and hypocritical can you get.

She said buying apple products is akin to rape.
So because she “may” have been raped it would be insensitive to repeat the crazy statements she makes publicly?

You want to support this insanity? OK your insane as well. And your attempt at bullying others is comical – now be quiet before we give you a wedgie .

No you disingenuous thing, she did not say those words at all. What she specifically said was even more disgusting and raises some severe doubts about her insanity and your lies to cover it up.

For you to attempt to change the wording tone and meaning is ridiculous and may result in leaking fistulas. Crowder shouldnt mock that? Hell; the world should mock that and have her and YOU committed for observation.

She Said Quote: “Apple is known for the clean lines of their products, the alluring simplicity of their designs,”
“Dare I….go so far….as to suggest…this signature cleanness is stained by the shit and urine of raped women’s leaking fistulas?”

If Ashley Judd is a rape victim just because she says she is, is Juanita Broderick also a rape victim?

Just trying to establish the boundaries here.

Absolutely correct Russ. Thank you for pointing me in the direction of the whole story, I knew that the Brietfart party was incapable of the truth. Here’s the link to AJ’s entire blog post regarding mined conflict metals, rape and modern electronic devices.

The Democrat/Liberal/Progressive/Marxists are geniuses at controlling the narrative. Have you noticed that when something is reprehensible that they try to pin the tail on Conservatives? This lie is an Alinsky tactic. Conservatives had better wise up and start linking “Democrat” to horrible true issues in the Public’s mind. Go on the offensive. You can’t win a war on the defensive. “waronwomen” should be #DemocratWaronWomen! When you spot any lie, TURN IT BACK ON THEM!

At least this place doesn’t have the problem RedState has with Disqus, where there are a lot of lefty people that read and vote but don’t comment, so you’ll see a concern troll that’s been banned for such with 28 upvotes and 1 downvote.

I like to call this flavor of lying “Clintonizing”, in honor of our former President who was a grandmaster in being able to say something that was technically true but implied all kinds of false things to which conclusion many people would immediately jump.

Why not use the phrase “Truth to Power”? At best it steals a term from the prognazis while forcing the youngsters to deal with the cognitive disconnect from comparing various truths. At worst, it’s stale beer.

The opportunity lost in Crowder’s remarks: had Judd owned, carried and used a handgun, even a knife, she may not have gotten raped.
Rape, like racism, will lose its cachet as Judd and others throw it around as an attack term. Rape will become, like the casual racism rampant in the Democrat Party, not so much a crime as an expectation, or an obligation of the elites upon their powerless serfs.
If Judd’s past rapes so color her perspective that everything she doesn’t like is rape, she should seek counseling, not public office. We wouldn’t want the Senate dining staff accused of rape because her vichy soisse came with little crackers and not a roll.

I occasionally read HuffPo for laughs (“racism, racist, racists, racialism, ractastic, Sarah Palin is evil/crazy/stupid, racification”) and laugh at all the delusions, the mythology, all the little products of their imagination. Then I realize that millions of people read that site and take it seriously. We are truly doomed as a species.

In the same vein, why are you here telling us the other side of the narrative must be protected from blowback?

Aren’t they strong enough to man up and take it?

  27. K-Bob

Yep. Lies are easy. When called out on them, you just cook up another one in defense. Takes no study, no intelligence, and no originality.
