This is a blast. I heard the figure 25k thrown out for attendance. I’m sure that the libel media will take a cube root or so and report that.
The day was made meeting Lord Monckton here in the tent, enjoying a colonial Subway sandwich. I cut an interview, but there was a great deal of background noise, so I’ll preview that a bit (or if you want to comb my YouTube page, it’s there) before embedding.
Update 19:53 Lord Monckton led a chant of “Global Warming Is B<acon> S<andwich>” so that Barack Obama, who is “hiding behind the drapes in the White House” can hear.
Ray Stevens played, and is a great American.
Eat your heart out, dad. I mentioned to Ray that I’m a huge fan of “The Haircut Song”, because it mentions a logger from Coos Bay, Oregon. Where I was born, back in the day of the square wheel.
Update 20:03 YouTube looks like it’s done cooking Stacy’s crowd pan video of an hour or so ago.
Update 20:14 Another take on Victoria Jackson’s Commie in the White House:
Update 20:18It is crucial that this blog not forget its roots while rubbing elbows with the rich and famous. BigFurHat, the Most Wanted Blogger At CPAC, called up to chew me out about not being on the blogroll. Unlike the POTUS, I understand how to respond to feedback. If we’re remiss in including anyone, please let us know. Following that train of thought, here are some more pics of the real stars of the Tea Party:
Update 20:49 Breitbart at the Washington Monument, part 1:

I was at the afternoon rally at Freedom Plaza and also at the night rally at the Washington Monument…drove down from Connecticut with 2 fellow conservatives. What an awesome experience to be able to share with all the patriots gathered in D.C.! Breitbart was right on the money, Congresswoman Michelle Bachman was right on the money, as were all the rest of the speakers. This is the awakening of America! We WILL remember in November!
