Obama: If You Think I Screwed Up On
the BP Disaster, You’re Just Ignorant
Posted on | May 27, 2010 | 37 Comments
He went to Columbia University and Harvard Law, which means he’s umpteen zillion times smarter than you are:
“Those who think that we were either slow in our responses or lacked urgency don’t know the facts. This has been our highest priority since this crisis occurred,” Obama said during a rare news conference in the White House East Room. “We understood from day one the potential enormity of this crisis and acted accordingly.”
Translation: Shut up, you stupid morons! Can’t you see that you’ve got an Expert Genius running the country now? You should be grateful.

I just wish we had more people brilliant enough to solve problems without ever lifting a finger – except to grip a golf club, of course.
Arrogant POS. What a pathetic excuse for a human being, much less a President.

My message to President Obama:
Dear Mr. President:
The liability and responsibility for the well blowout goes to BP. The agency personal who appear to be HIGH on crystal meth may have contributed by inaction, but the responsibility is still BP’s.
As for Bush being to blame. President Obama, with all due respect to your office, go fuck yourself. Seriously. Same to you Jimmy Carville. Fuck you, you fuckedy fucks. Yeah, I stole that line from Treme, which I think stole it since I have heard it many times before, but I like it and it fits this situation.
If you are going to hold Bush responsible for Katrina (and to some limited extent that is justified–he was slow on the federal level in response), then be a fucking man and take responsibility for fuck ups on your watch. I would respect you if you did that. Did you cause the well to explode? Of course not (just like Bush did not cause Katrina to hit New Orleans). Did you dither for about a month and a half while it spewed out an Exxon Valdez worth of oil every week? Yes you did. Are you dwadling in making decisions while the State of Lousianna and Bobby Jindal are attempting to act (they want to dredge up emergency sand barrier islands to protect the marshes, but the administration is not giving approvals)? Yes, Mr. President, you are.
Sincerely,
Joe

Oh goody, I’ve been waiting for this.
Joe#4–
Your head is so far up your ass that you can’t even get your indignation straight, you stupid piece of human waste. With all due respect to your mother, go fuck your mother you dickweed.
Let’s get this straight, moron: it’s BP’s fault, but it’s Obama’s fault. Way to go you tea-bagging homo!
This is the beauty of this situation: On the one hand you corporate defender tea-party capitalist types are left to defend BP’s actions and consequent inactions. On the other hand you want to slam BO, which would leave you admitting by default that you are for Big Government. That’s why Rand Paul is screwed come November and hat’s why Conservatism and Tea Bagging is as hopeless as your lame-brained attempts to turn this into “Obama’s Katrina”.
Stacy, once again you show your inferiority complex, born of course from your intellectual inferiority, with that curious translation of BO’s statement. Yeah, and the Civil War is really the ” War of Northern Aggression”. Didn’t work then, won’t work now….

Too late, young4eyes. Obama owns this mess, the same way he owns the deficit.
You don’t know it yet, but come November, you might start to get it.
Then again, you might not. You appear awfully dense.

Oh boy Randy. I guess you’re one of those disaffected Tea Bagging morons who just woke up out of their 8 year slumber. Obama owns this mess like Conservatives own honesty. Again, the issue of Cons confusing their wishful thinking with fact rears its head. It’s going to be fun watching Cons contort themselves into a tizzy defending the actions of their beloved oil industry. You don’t get that the dissatisfaction with BO’s handling of this matter is that he hasn’t been hard enough on BP. Meanwhile your TeaBagging hero Rand Paul wants to chide the POTUS for being too hard. You’ve given your hand away fools…
Joe- given your ranting mess of a post I will not worry about what you think, if you could even call it that.Tea Party morons are dime a dozen. Now go back to playing the banjo you half-wit ….

oh dumbass, fortunately I cannot count myself as one of the “upset” bitter Americans ,because an incompetent Republican is not at the helm. Your laundry list of problems is just another chapter of the kitchen sink your ilk has hoped will undo this Presidency. Well, keep hoping.
Funny, I never said anything about Tea-Baggers being racist, but if the shoe fits…And Rand Paul was mentioned as an example of how Cons will be exposed as per this oil-spill issue. I mean, what will Americans think when they are reminded that Republicans want to keep a cap on BP’s liability?Yes, that is sure winner for you morons. While the nation rages at the oil industry’s ineffective damage control, Conservatives want to make sure that BP doesn’t take too hard a hit. Let’s just pass that cleanup cost to the taxpayers. No dumbass, what you confuse for being upset is the confidence that your side will get your asses handed to you like it was when BO won the election. And you crybabies will whine about it because, well, that’s what you do best…

I think RSM may have hit on something important in his last line in the post . . .
Barack Obama as Wile E. Coyote, Inventor and Genius . . .
Maybe, since the Administration has been in charge since DAY ONE, they should have fired BP and brought in the ACME Corporation . . .
Or maybe they already did . . .

I realize that Young4eyes is a bit short in the manners department. It’s something of a requirement for the Angry Young Man persona. However, I beg all of you to remember that we were all young once. If we did not happen to take the political path over Fools’ Hill, there were still wine, women and rock’n’roll. Our job is to help him, and all the others like him, to learn and grow. The developmental task for the adolescent is to establish his or her own identity, which means deciding not only what they favor, but also what they oppose. The actual economic actions that made racism more than just a bad attitude were outlawed forty six years ago. Statistically speaking, it is unlikely that even Y4E’s parents can remember a time when real racism could be practiced with impunity. However, very conveniently for him and the millions like him, racism is still a handy evil to hate, which is, as I said, a necessity in establishing an identity, and a self-sense as a ‘good’ person.
Now, as for the Gulf oil spill, the BP well blew out, in what we used to call a gusher, when they happened on land. They made for some very dramatic movie scenes, way back then, but, in reality, gushers were dangerous, and blew out a very valuable commodity, petroleum. That’s why they are now so rare on land, and rarer still at sea. Whether BP actually failed to take some precaution, we do not yet know. Surely, it was not Barry’s job to inspect every drilling rig. However, letting it spew for more than a month, blocking Louisiana’s efforts at remediation and coast line protection, fit suspiciously well into Barry’s anti-drilling program.
As for President Bush delaying Federal response to Katrina, Federal disaster relief got to southern LA a day sooner than they got to Florida after Andrew. My son and I set out from Texas with his pick-up and my rubber boat, figuring we would drive the truck in as far as we found dry road, then use the boat to bring people trapped in their houses out to the truck. We were turned back by LA highway patrol. Why? The media were reporting sniper fire on people attempting such rescue efforts. Since that was not true, I strongly suspect that the media wanted to exacerbate the problems in NOLa, to cause political harm to the Republicans.
In the present emergency, private business and volunteer efforts have on no account been reluctant to do what they could to ameliorate problems attendant upon the oil spill. James Carville’s rant suggests some of the content we’ll find in the Hillary ’12 campaign. However, for the most part, it would seem that Berry has done a fine job,on his own,of smearing his reputation.
