Who and Why?

The story behind the story of the Bob Etheridge video continues to fascinate Washington. While people in North Carolina are wondering why a seven-term Democratic congressman went nuts when asked whether he supported President Obama, Washington Post gossip columnists Roxeanne Roberts and Amy Argetsinger follow David Weigel’s angle.

Is it as interesting as Miley Cyrus? No.

On the other hand, Miley Cyrus isn’t a member of the House Ways and Means Committee. But at least one Democrat has suggested the possibility of congressional upskirts so . . .

I am thinking of not wearing underwear and having a Miley Cyrus like upskirt “accident” getting out of a car. To change the subject and all. What do you think?

The response in Raleigh from the citizen Democrats has been.

“This was a set-up from the start”

    This is my response:
So, what you are saying is, the GOP made Etheridge go to a Pelosi fund raiser with an open bar, made Bob get drunk, forced Bob to walk down a particular street, then made Bob grab a camera from a young man who asked a simple question, then hang onto that man by the wrist and then neck while yelling “Who are you?” multiple times in a drunken stupor.

    Yup, that’s believable.
