Go figure: a hapless, failed politician with zero media experience and a pathetic drone of an op-ed writer have achieved the lowest Nielsen ratings for CNN in a decade. And, given its programming over that period, that’s really quite an accomplishment.

Getting a smaller audience than MSNBC? Genius.

    CNN and MSNBC have announced a new way to get ratings : female mudwrestling battle of the network stars. First week will be Larry King versus Ed Shultz. In tu-tus. Saggy man breasts and all.

    What were they thinking?

    I thought that they had lost their minds when they hired Campbell (No bull) Brown, and they had, but she is like Edward R. Murrow compared with the Parker Spitzer luminaries.
