Today, 149 Democrats voted against defunding Obama’s Illegal War™ in Libya. Our nation now awaits the onset of Code Pink peace protests against such bloodthirsty imperialist warmongers as Nancy Pelosi, Raul Grijalva and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.

U.S. forces will continue their effort to kill Moammar Qaddafi.

White House spokesman H.R. Haldeman strenuously denied reports that President Obama was planning to re-institute the military draft, mobilize the National Guard, mine Haiphong harbor and invade Cambodia.

Daniel Ellsberg’s psychiatrist could not be reached for comment.

    On a side thought – there are a lot of twenty-somethings, and older teenagers who bought the Peace Love and Peanut Butter lines expressed by the Dems from 2001 up to today. They all loyally voted Dem as their expression for standing on principle.

    There’s going to be a lot of confusion out there in Bedlam over this vote. Almost like a field ready-made for harvesting. And only Sarah Palin has the machine to reach them and gather them up.

    Everyone needs to be aware of how the 89 REPUBLICANS voted against defunding Obama’s illegal war, including Michelle Bachmann, Allen West, Darrel Issa, and Paul Ryan. They have got some ‘splainin’ to do!

    West, Issa, Bachmann, Ryan and many others in the GOP sided with Pelosi, Frank, Waxman, Wasserman-Schultz, ect. …

    This is why the GOP is known as the “stupid party”. They vote that the illegal war is wrong, but then vote against defunding it. Now we know why they won’t impeach Obama, they prefer to enable him. Go see the roll call so you know who needs to be primaried out at the nearest election!

    And Allen West, first he votes AGAINST defunding the Pigford scam, and now this. Very disappointing. looks like the DC swamp vapors have gotten to him.

    I say defund all the crap, get out of Libya, and get out of Iraq and Afghanistan while we’re at it. Then take our troops out of Europe, Japan, and South Korea. We have no business anyplace but in the Persian Gulf to protect shipping, and two or three destroyers  and maybe one aircraft carrier should be more than sufficient for that.

    Reason-we simply can’t afford this shit anymore, and if we want to be taken seriously about budgetary restraint, in a way that we can legitimately avoid tax increases, then this crap needs to stop.

    Enough. Let the rest of the world crash and burn while we keep our powder dry and defend our own borders.

    Wow. For decades I have felt we need troops on the DMZ and in Europe to “protect our friends” and deter our enemies and exert influence and be ready, quickly, to help keep international order. Could I have been wrong? Well, duh. Of course. I am ready to begin evaluating how putting the ball back into “their” respective courts could help adjust “their” thinking about the awful USA. Don’t it always seem to go, that you don’t know what you got til its gone? Now I find myself wondering if merely mentioning the possibility that we will leave the world to defend itself -if that mention came with serious tones- might propel the world to learn to appreciate us more. If we could get “them” to spend the money to defend themselves, because we aren’t there to defend them anymore, might we be more persuasive in getting them to eradicate their own evils? I don’t know. In response to your post, I just now decided to ponder that scenario. Hmmm….
