What Happened to ‘No Drama Obama’?

Turned the TV on this afternoon to try to get some news about the Oslo terrorism attacks and instead, I get a hectoring and angry President Obama.

It appears that House Speaker John Boehner has found his spine and isn’t going to be bullied into raising taxes, and this has driven the president into paroxyms of inchoate rage.

To quote Don Surber: ”Washington has more Drama Queens than a Barney Frank luau on Fire Island.” And Obama’s the biggest queen of them all.

No more interrupting the actual news with your selfish hissy fits, Mr. President. There is nothing in the Constitution that requires Congress to ask “how high” when you say “jump.”

Get off my TV!

    He told a bald-lie. Boehner said he decided he wanted 400 billion dollars more in revenue than he initially said he wanted and that’s why the talks fell apart. Obama stood right there and denied it. Boehner is far from perfect but I’ll take his word over that lying stack of shit any day.

    Mike Lee called Obama a liar on NPR.  He did it with facts and in response to biased suckass questions from the NPR journalist.  It was great.  We need more of that.  Lot’s more.

    Obama can go out and throw a tantrum and make false claims about the negotiations as long as they remain behind closed doors.  It’s time to call him out.

    These plans will affect all Americans for years to come.  This isn’t some dictatorship where policy is settled in secret; we debate and argue openly, in full view of the public.  Why won’t “the most transparent Administration in history” do that?

    FORCE Obama to submit a plan, and I guarantee his support drops 10% within a couple of days.  Not that it is great now, but the minute he signs on to any specifics, he alienates some of his support.
