Reading this post over at Protein Wisdom, I was struck by the thought that it sure is swell, as the country seems to be sinking into ‘anarchy’, as winked at by the POTUS, that the country has dropped bazillions of dollars into the FBI &c over the years.

As the protestors brazenly consider upping their game and going after private citizens and property, it is comforting to know that our various law enforcement and Homeland Security agencies have our backs.

Yeah, it sure is good to know that all the people who have sworn to support and defend the Constitution, in various elected and appointed offices, as well as those paid from public tax dollars to keep the home fires safe, are johnny-on-the-spot about a widespread meltdown that is being slowly, stupidly, crap-on-cruisers-ly executed by these nitwits.

And the media is going to hold everybody accountable–this we know. If the police feel like doing their job with a little too much vigor, we can expect fair, balanced, and accurate accounting for all.

One rests comfortably knowing that, when the anarchy goes down, our government will totally be there.

I understand the FBI is peeling the Waco parking stickers off their rolling  command posts as we speak…

Smitty, I have to pull back from this crap or I will lose my mind.

That’s why I feel that any discussion about investing in precious metals must be about the Top Three:  Gold, Silver, Lead.

And not necessarily in that order.

When one looks at the pictures of the “encampments” particularly in NY am I the only person that keeps thinking cholera outbreak?

  • http://thecampofthesaints.org Bob Belvedere

One can hope.  We do know there will be outbreaks of ‘the French Disease’ and other related viruses.

  • http://thecampofthesaints.org Bob Belvedere

Now will all of you who haven’t been taking this whole thing seriously start understanding what some of us have been warning about since 17 September???

  • JeffS

Don’t forget typhus.   Or typhoid fever.

STDs are certain, but take longer to make an impact on enemy formations.

Ya know in no time it starts getting cold in NYC. Some humanitarian assistance would be the Christian thing to do. Just how exactly, does one infect blankets with smallpox?

We should have expected this the minute the country elected a man who’s only experience in the private sector was as a “community organizer”. This is how he rolls, so of course he would be supportive. What’s really amazing is that he is so tone deaf he seems to think the majority of the country is still with him. Or even more scary, that this will get them back on his side. That is literally how he thinks, it seems. Amazing.

These clowns aren’t where the revolution starts nor are they the trigger for Martial law the administration awaits. That has to happen where there has been no hope for a while. These nitwits believe that they hold the keys to the future that they will make a difference. And the SDs will hitch their wagon to them, the blind leading the blind.

I am reluctantly coming to the conclusion that the left is actually as stupid as they appear.

  • JeffS

Even the stupid can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.  All it takes is for the not stupids to relax their vigilance.

  • JeffS

Smallpox is too nasty, and to likely to spread uncontrolled.  Typhus has a less uncertain vector, and can easily be “added” to blankets.

  • JeffS

Good point; this is nothing more than community organizing on a national scale.

    Epic FAIL.

Law enforcement and Homeland Security ain’t there to have your back. Quite the contrary, they are there ’cause the Ruling Class sees you as the enemy. We the People are mere pawns, cannon fodder, cogs in the collectivist machine.

Our federal government is far worse than King George III on his worst day. Makes me wish our military really would fight for our freedoms. But to do so, they’d have to invade and overthrow Washington, DC.

Democrats aren’t our enemy. Our enemy is the same as our Founders. Our enemy is our own government. When you stop and think about it, there has never been a more corrupt, vile, murderous institution in all of history than that of the state. There’s a reason God felt betrayed when the Israelites demanded a king.

Government won’t protect you. In fact, it will inflict upon you the most harm.

The union thugs Lerner controls might try it – they’ve done similar things in the past, once terrorizing a 14 year old kid home alone with a screaming mob on the lawn.  But most of these “protestors” are coddled upper middle class punks who might thrown stones from behind an overturned car or within a crowd, but aren’t about actually DOING anything unless their student debt is forgiven by doing it.

Remember, though, if you see two or more purple-shirted goons headed your way, the only sane course is to assume they mean you deadly harm and shoot first to defend yourself and others.

I suspect that law enforcement is, or will soon be using the protests as a honey trap for rounding up the deadbeats with warrants in the region.

Sadly, the stupid antics are unlikely to get through to the local natives.  We can only hope that in the mean time, parents come to their senses and redecorate their basements while the former occupants are out declaring their ignorance.

  • http://thecampofthesaints.org Bob Belvedere

    Exactly, Jeff.

They’re Useful Idiots and, more importantly, Dupes and, therefore, can be easily led.  Now, granted, many of them will chicken-out the first chance they get, but, mix in some union and community activist agitators among them, start the violence, and watch a good number of these Rebels Without A Clue get swept up in the moment.

The question is, can we depend on the police to do the right thing at that point?  After the performance of law enforcement in Wisconsin, one is forced to ask such a question, whereas ten years ago it would have seemed absurd.

Perhaps – just perhaps – we can look to 1905 in Russia for some insight?

  • http://thecampofthesaints.org Bob Belvedere

That’s a key: we don’t want the people, like small business owners who are having their establishments invaded by these pond scum, to be at risk.

We need something that will spread fast in close crowds but not be adept at jumping out from them.

Most Democrats are right up there in support of big government in one form or another. Moderate Democrats tend to be strongly pro-union. They technically seem to be New Deal Democrats. Even conservative Dems tend to believe in some degree of government control in areas the government has no business being involved in. One things for sure they damn sure don’t have any problem doling out the pork to their constituents. Then again, I can’t really blame them for that.

Yet another reason to live in a state with Right to Carry and Castle Doctrine laws.  If you protest at my house, stay on the sidewalk.

I don’t recall reading about any delousing stations at any of “campins”.

  • JeffS

Correct.  Hygienic conditions at #OWS are less than ideal, excellent  conditions for lice.
