Stacy McCain’s Name Is Not On An Award, But Smitty’s Is

WHEREABOUTS UNKNOWN–Fugitive award winning author Robert Stacy McCain’s location in Undisclosed, KY has apparently been compromised. It wasn’t clear from the conversation whether he meant Kentucky, or something else. Does he typically refer to the state as “Kay-Why”? He reports via phone that he’s tired of Dick Cheney’s gun collection, and headed for an Even Less Disclosed Location.
Now, while I am in fact United For Life with my wife of eight-ish years, I am not the Chris Smith receiving the Henry J. Hyde Defender of Life Award. But the utility of a name like ‘Chris Smith’ should be apparent to all.
Stacy, on the other hand, has be awarded with some ludicrous traffic here on the blog. Small comfort for all the stress of dealing with a significant threat to his family, but let’s thank some of our recent linkers:
- Society Bytes:
Freedom of speech is under assault in America by liberals, radicals, Leftists, and known convicted terrorists like Brett Kimberlin, whose anti-America agenda is being funded and financially supported right now by some of the most well-known Americans.
However, instead of attacking terrorist Brett Kimberlin directly, which many bloggers have found to be a dangerous method, go after those people who are supporting him through financial donations either directly or through his Justice Through Music Project. - Collins links us amidst a Wisconsin report. Perhaps Dan thinks that Stacy is hiding out in Troglopundit’s bog. While I am sure that Stacy McCain is concerned about the safety of his family, exposing them to the risk of something incurable hardly seems a reasonable response.
- thatinnnocuousgirl brings an old Indianapolis Star article about what a “totally multi-talented, a real Renaissance criminal” is Edgy Brett.
- Madman Bob Belvedere is linking the Kimberlin story like it hasn’t been linked before:
Tomorrow is Everybody Blog About Brett Kimberlin Day where many of us will take part in a blogburst to help spread the word about Democrat activist and convicted domestic terrorist bomber Brett Kimberlin and his Leftist associates.
- And, as always, thank you, Instapundit!.
Do not let my low-key style of writing this post distract from the fact that Brett Kimblerlin is both capable of pretty much anything and representative of the darker site of where the Left in this country has been for longer than we’re really aware.

It should also be noted that the Twitter Right has coalesced around the effort to defend free speech and Nagy, Frey, Walker, Allen, and McCain (sounds like a law firm). Tons of people whose handles I don’t recognize are in there tweeting and retweeting the links to here, Malkin, Ace, and Walker, as well as Dan’s stories on Kimberlin.
Tomorrow is going to give Kimberlin a taste of what he has been spreading around for years.

Free speech is the point.
By the way – I finally realized how JTMP has been skating by. In their boiler plate “about us” section, in paragraph two, they write: “Nationally known entertainment attorney Jeff Cohen and other computer savvy activists”.
If the Jeff Cohen is the lawyer who signs as executive director, he’s not a nationally known entertainment lawyer.
There is, indeed, a very famous entertainment lawyer named Jeff Cohen, but it’s not the same guy. I’m wondering about this.

Oh, and has anyone – anyone at all – found a “famous musician” or “famous band” associated with this outfit? I haven’t.

He could always hide out in Illinois like those funny Wisconsin Democrats.

I’ve written to them for confirmation of Kimberlin’s alleged involvement; no response so far.

The Washington Examiner has picked this up:

He (Brett Kimberlin) is listed as a director on the 2010 990. Unless he resigned recently, he still is – and that would be interesting in itself, as that leaves only one person, the executive director, at all responsible.

That’s great! It’s still op/ed stuff, not news coverage, but it could be the crack in the ice we need.

Who is Brett Kimberlin?Hint: Think the opposite of “Who is John Galt”

He still is; you can find him in several recent Op-Critical videos filmed at various Occupy events. I have more on my blog:

There are lots of famous musician’s involved with JTMP, unfortunately. All you need to do is check out their website to find mention of them.

Here’s my “Everybody Blog About Brett Kimberlin” post:
http://thatinnocuousgirl.wordpress.com/2012/05/25/a-relatively-concise-brett-kimberlin-timeline-10-2/
It’s a relatively concise timeline of Kimberlin’s earlier activities. But the final questions might be interesting to many.
BTW, thanks for the link-love, Smitty!

Probably not the best idea — there are some associates in the LoL that most definitely would not like him calling attention to them by showing up on their doorstep…and the LoL is not a good swimming environment for little, expendable fish who could cast light on big sharks.
Besides, Speedway isn’t that far from the state line; he’s likely got some old ties in the LoL who may be thinking things — again, unsafe waters.
