NARAL President Quitting, Cites
Lack of Young Abortion Activists

  • Robert Evans

I’d LOL, but it’s a sad commentary at its core, isn’t it?

  • smitty

As the farmer who went to the sea,
And threw in his seed with a mighty heave,
In the name of of fairness, what else could it be?
Except maybe Progress, in which fools believe.

  • Joan Of Argghh!

    That’s pretty awesome, Smitty.

  • Steve Skubinna

This is what James Taranto at WSJ called the “Roe Effect.”

  • Charles

NARAL is looking for a reproductive activist under age 50 to replace Nancy Keenan. What do you bet they choose Sandra Flukes?

  • Roxeanne de Luca

Ideological Darwinism at work. They kill all of their potential supporters in the womb, then can’t get supporters.

  • RichFader

It’s called “working yourself out of a job”.

  • Quartermaster

This isn’t just more of famous gratuitous sarcasm is it Stacy? IT’s just too good to be true.

  • jsn2

Done in by their own success.

  • WarEagle82

You just couldn’t make this up…

In China, there was a protest saying the government’s “one child” policy has led to most female babies being aborted, but the government refused to take the protest seriously because only 73 women attended the protest.
Just kidding for now. Check back in a few years, though.

Isn’t this how previous Amazonian cultures died out?

Men don’t perform well in captivity nor with threats of bodily harm (well some might but they have questionable genetics.)

Too bad the rest of the Progressivesphere can’t hurry up and kill itself off a little faster for the rest of our sake.

Could anyone in 1990 have predicted that we would still be fighting marxist/socialist ideology and it’s pernicious effects twenty years later?

Sad thing is as it’s the baby boomers with the demographics, I’m unlikely to see the end result of their passing. Unless I’m lucky.

  • Adjoran

    Amen, and amen.

  • Adjoran

Methinks Sexy Sandy isn’t exactly the kind of “reproductive activist” they’re looking for.

  • Adjoran

Could the critics of Western society be right, that we just do everything wrong? The muslim women bear many children and only speak when they are spoken to.

You can never quote this often enough:

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “The Wages of Sin is Death.”

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man —
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began —
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
And the burnt Fool’s bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire —
And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!

  • Wombat_socho

    Faster, please.

  • Wombat_socho

    Kipling never gets old.

It is simply awe inspiring the number of young advocates against abortion that show up every year in Washington DC, they number better then 400K every year and are ignored every year by local and national State Run Media operations. They still come and each year they are younger and younger and you know why? because the SCIENCE is settled, it is a baby.
