The Face of Cowardice: Theresa May

Meet the hideous creature who banned Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer from England: British Home Secretary Theresa May, a disgrace to her office, to her nation and to every British citizen who ever lived. On June 25, this deplorable stain on the reputation of a once honorable people “personally directed that [Geller] should be excluded from the United Kingdom” because it is believed that Geller would “foment or justify terrorist violence . . . provoke others to terrorist acts . . . foster hatred,” etc. Robert Spencer writes of the ban:
We had planned to lay a wreath at a memorial to British soldier Lee Rigby, who was beheaded by Islamic jihadists on a Woolwich street on May 22. But it is not conducive to the public good in Britain to oppose jihad violence and Islamic supremacism.
British schoolgirls are being systematically gang-raped by Muslims and British soldiers are being hacked to death in the street by Muslims and yet this despicable gutless appeaser, Theresa May, thinks the way to solve the problem is to ban critics of Islam?
Neville Chamberlain was a heroic statesman by comparison.

I’m trying to get an e-mail address for Theresa May, so that I can send her a request that she also ban me from the nation whose honor she has so despicably surrendered to the despotic rule of sharia.
Meanwhile, I just hit the tip jar at both Pamela Geller’s Atlas Shrugs and Robert Spencer’s Jihad Watch, and hope you will, too.
Way to go, English cowards: You're besieged by Islamic radicals and so … BLAME THE JEW! http://t.co/iebtmayZ4y @pamelageller
— Robert Stacy McCain (@rsmccain) June 28, 2013
UPDATE: Years ago, there was a BBC mini-series about the RAF pilots who saved England in the darkest hours of the Blitz.
A squadron of Spitfires would take off, lose perhaps one-third or one-half their number in the desperate dogfights with the Nazis and, when the surviving pilots made it back to base, the question would be asked, “How was it up there today?”
“Piece of cake.”
What heroic nobility! That’s the old British stiff-upper-lip stoicism, the jaunty indifference to danger: “Piece of cake.”
Damn, to see England go under in dishonor like this . .
UPDATE II: A belated welcome to Instapundit readers, and I’m pleased to report that a commenter has provided an e-mail address for Teresa May: [email protected]

Let’s not forget about American radio host Michael Savage, who was banned from entering Britain 2 years ago.

There have been other plots. That this is the first to succeed in the UK is only a testament to the incompetence of the jihad brigade.

But you have no problem spending $10 for a movie ticket so that people that despise most of what is good about America can make 20 million dollars for acting. Yep you have got your priorities in order. Or maybe you are just a troll.

How have you answered the criticism of your opposition to Geller’s tip jar as “unseemly?” You think maybe that at a certain point “you’ve made enough money?” You don’ t pay your doctor if he has a house in Florida? Blogs aren’t all charities. Are you saying Geller represents hers as one? Is she representing herself as needy or as something other than what she is? If not, then what in the world are you talking about?
June 30th, 2013 @ 12:26 am
Imagine that. A self hating Jew.

The cowardice is quite apparent in the video on Geller’s site: two EDL members – but wearing tee shirts raising money for a sick child, and describing their walk along public streets as a “charity fundraising walk” are attacked by leftists, stopped by police and finally arrested.
They repeatedly offered to take other routes if the police so ordered them, but they never did. But once they got too close to the spot where Rigsby was decapitated, they were stopped and then arrested for “obstructing police” and handcuffed and taken away.
It’s all on video, they never obstructed anyone and repeatedly ask the police to tell them if they aren’t allowed to walk a given block.
If the ghosts of Churchill and Thatcher could come back, they would have a merry time running the cowards out of British government.

And in classic Roberto Duran “No mas” style, too – abject surrender.
It’s become terrible to watch unfold.

It is tragic that a cheap trashy little leftist british twinkie can subvert the equivalent of free speech in the UK by simple executive decree. No good will come from this spinelessness.

They used to have the song:
=====
The Bells of Hell go ting-a-ling-a-ling
For you but not for me:
For me the angels sing-a-ling-a-ling,
They’ve got the goods for me.
Oh! Death, where is thy sting-a-ling-a-ling?
Oh! Grave, thy victory?
The Bells of Hell go ting-a-ling-a-ling
For you but not for me.
=====
They’ve sort of lost it, of late.
See also the Menin Gate.
I say that as an actual Irish Anglophile.

That’s OK, Martin. When the Islamists take over Britain, women like her will be the first to reap what they have sown. I’m glad I have only sons. As Mark Steyn cleverly wrote, all they have to do is grow beards, (pretend to) convert and then they can have 4 wives whom they can beat when necessary to keep them in line.

I just e-mailed this to the contact information (via website) kindly provided by bet0001970 below (darn – wish I’d caught that typo before sending):
Regarding your prevention the entrance of Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer to the UK, all I can say is you make Neville Chamberlain look smart and brave. When the Islamists take over Britain (and with MP like you, they surely will), you and your female left-wing ilk will be the first to reap what you are sowing. And deservedly so, I might add.

Britain was lost decades ago. Now, it is just a mopping up action. Theresa May is not out of line. Theresa May is exactly in line for today’s Britain.
We should note the US is going down the same path. The noble principles used to create and define this country are being abandoned. Free speech is being constrained by being defined as “bullying”. Criticism of our politicians is being constrained by Town Hall meetings requiring tickets given out by the SEIU or abandoned all together.

I’m not sure how Americans are different. Yes, as here, you can still talk about the ‘negative aspects’ of muslims but for how long? The creeping PC pacification of islamic critics is a daily occurrence. Our own government uses groups like home schoolers, tea partiers, survivalist/militias, etc., as examples of terrorist in training manuals and other material, as well as targets in live training drills. Our government, president in particular, refuse to call foreign terrorist, terrorist, but has no problem calling Americans terrorist. The only terrorist this government recognizes are Americans. By coincidence that particular type of American that Theresa May bans. I appreciate the need and sentiments behind this article I’m just pointing out we need to remember/realize our government isn’t so different.
