This weekend…meh. I got some stuff done and saw “Interstellar”, which was pretty awesome, but the rest of the weekend I could have done without. Anyway, the Steelers are playing the Titans tonight, so before the usual disclaimer, we have this.

Almost certainly not an actual Steelers cheerleader.

As usual, we are compelled to note that many of the following links are to pix generally considered NSFW, unless you work someplace really awesome.
Exercise discretion with the clicking.

Average Bubba leads off this week with Stephanie Seymour, Goodstuff checks in with Claudia Cardinale, Ninety Miles from Tyranny contributes Morning Mistress, Hot Pick of the Late Night, and Girls with Guns.

At Animal Magnetism, it’s Rule Five Friday and the Saturday Gingermageddon. Loose Endz reminds us of the Women of Star Trek (the original series), Blackmailers Don’t Shoot likewise brings us Chicks In Space, and First Street Journal has women on Sea Duty.

I only clicked on this to gorp at the blonde. What is a steeler anyways? Is it like a boner?

Certainly not…because the Steelers HAVE no cheerleaders. Then again, I’ve seen the babushka mamas from the North Side. So I understand The Chief’s reasoning.
    TY for the linky love.

Yep, the Pittsburgh Steelers are one of six NFL teams with no cheerleaders. I don’t remember all of the other five, but I know the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers are among them.

I didn’t know that, actually. Man, this is turning into one hell of an educational post!

Dunno, but I bet she wouldn’t mind relieving his…tensions.

Using Wikipedia, the Cleveland Browns, the Buffalo Bills, the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions also do not have cheerleaders. Green Bay started using local college cheerleaders in 2007.

Thanks for linking to the massive photoblog/metablog where Claudia Cardinale explains the propaganda concept and the Rosetta / Philae mission. Plus, at no extra cost, free tickets to Hell Comes to Frogtown!

Yup. It’s all the really old teams. More recently created teams wouldn’t dream of joining the NFL without some cheer!

RSM could bulk up Wombat’s gruel a bit with Nutria meat. He could also use the fur to outfit his bride, and women always love fur coats.

I know that nutria are not individually that big, but can they be sewn together into good fur rugs, or do you need an actual bear for something like that?

None of those cities are in temperate climbs conducive to short skirts, etc.
Cleveland, for example has a warm and pleasant Indian summer on August the 15th roughly between 1PM and 3PM.
