Remember Lilly the Human Train Wreck, the mentally ill feminist Tumblr blogger who filed a federal complaint against her university? She did not like being quoted on my blog:

Check it out. He “wrote an article” on me. He victim blames me the entire time. He hates that I am bi. He thinks I’m insane since I have mental illnesses.
We need to get him off the internet.

It’s kinda funny how nothing quite makes these special snowflakes as bunny-boiling mad as quoting their own words. On the other hand, ‘People quoting me accurately makes me so angry,’ does seem like something a mentally ill person might say.

The thing is, feminism is a No-Judgment Zone. This was one of the principles of feminist “consciousness-raising” back in the 1960s and ’70s: “Everybody share their private experiences and innermost feelings, because sisterhood is powerful. And no judgment, ever.” What nobody warned them is that this is a technique of brainwashing and mind-control, used by religious cults and totalitarian movements as a way of forming a collectivist mentality by breaking down the individual personality. The leaders and facilitators of this process (the people who organized “consciousness raising” back in the day, and who now teach Women’s Studies classes) understand what they are doing, whereas the typical college kid is not sophisticated enough to realize what is happening or why it is happening. Once a vulnerable person is exposed to that kind psychological indoctrination, they are induced to see the surrounding world as hostile and oppressive. This suspicious attitude toward “society” fosters a sort of paranoia, and the only secure refuge from such psychic pain is among fellow True Believers.

This is why feminists freak out when you quote their words in a critical context. They have been taught to fear common sense.

I suspect that in a lot of cases SJW-ism is just a way of externalising somebody’s own guilt and self-loathing onto other people. (See, for example, feminists who claim that guilty feelings after a one-night stand are all the fault of patriarchal brainwashing, rather than a sign that they’ve done something wrong.) Because of this, they’re always convinced that if they could just destroy one more redoubt of patriarchalism everything would be fine; because externalising their guilt is a way of avoiding having to actually deal with it and amend their behaviour, they will never feel at peace, and hence will never stop fighting the war against the patriarchy. That’s why SJWs always ratchet up their demands, from ending legal discrimination to ending “hate speech” to mandatory affirmation; it’s also why, when there isn’t a steady supply of conservatives, patriarchs and assorted traditionalists to hate on, SJWs generally start tearing each other to pieces in pretty short order.

It’s what you get when you (a) abandon standards of logical rigour and objective truth (because if all narratives are equally valid, being mentally ill doesn’t place you at a disadvantage here), (b) elevate victimhood into the measure of saintliness (because, let’s face it, being mentally ill is pretty crap), and (c) base all your arguments on emotional appeals (because most people don’t feel very comfortable getting into arguments with people who are clearly down on their luck; too similar to bullying for comfort).

You also get leftists using the mentally ill (and rape victims, and child abuse victims, and…) as human shields to deflect any criticism, whilst showing absolutely no interest in finding ways to help them get over their problems. But then, I suppose leftism has never really been about other people, has it?

I guess the whole thing is ultimately sad, whatever may have happened to her in the past or not. If such things didn’t happen she was probably mentally ill to begin with. However if she chooses not to seek treatment for problems she admits she has, it’s all on her. We generally don’t force people to confront their mental illness unless we have reason to involuntarily commit them.

It’s always been permissible to be a WIMP its just that in the past you had to “man up”, as it were, and carry on with life otherwise you’d fail courses or lose your job, not be able to earn the money to feed yourself or pay your rent.
Today a person can roll over, give up and cry about it and they’ll actually have a legion of followers, be able to get on the dole and sue anyone who didn’t at least provide a trigger warning prior to hurting your feelings.

To paraphrase what somebody said then other day, we’re not witnessing the dying of our society but it’s decomposition.

Because she knew in her heart it was a lie, so— “…then when they did and cleared the young man she threw a fit…” because the lie was exposed, undermining her victim status!

She just couldn’t sit still for that— she had to retaliate: she needed to regain her victim status! …and decided to sue the school for the investigation!

The school responds in a reasonable fashion— “Then the school advises she seek drug and alcohol counseling but…” unfortunately their advice requires her to do something: that she takes an active part in her own recovery! The nerve!

So, of course she “…she claims it’s a punishment, doesn’t go, and then quits school!”

Which, in feminism is game, set, and match.

From scrolling through her posts, it appears she has created a place where others cannot only share their various “traumas,” but a place where she dispenses advice, as well. As mentioned elsewhere, she uses her life experiences as the sole criterion for establishing her expertise. That is, instead of providing direction to professional advice and resources, she practices clinical psychology without a license.

But of course, it’s McCain and his ilk who are responsible for her followers not receiving the help they need.

yes she seems extreme but many colleges have these walk of shame/ hook-up posting sites either on FB or other social media where they report their own and others hook-ups — there does not appear to be any sexual shame in this generation — it’s not so much immorality as it is amorality IMO

This young woman is not untypical of students. “We need to get him off the Internet” They love authoritarianism and are the closest thing we have to Hitler Youth since Hitler Youth. It is not just feminism it is also Queer Studies.

It is a dark situation when teachers fear students. Notice the manipulation–she has been trained. Says she is “bi. I’m sure she makes sure every faculty member knows it, so when she gets a grade she deserves she can file a title IX. Because in reality nobody gives a rats tail what she is.

They can’t comprehend that other people have rights and they can’t silence and shame everyone with their narcissistic manipulations.

And Good grief, if they want to play the suicide threat, fine–good-bye cruel world—live or don’t. Most journalists and writers know that outing a fraud has resulted in suicides. It comes with the territory. College students need to grow the hell up and
if the want to play in the deep end they can learn to swim, or not.
