This blog is not clear whether an opportunity for modern emotional politics is being missed or not:

the Republican presidential candidate and multibillionaire business tycoon said in a forthcoming book that he still “always felt that I was in the military” because he attended a military boarding school and “dealt with those people.”

Had Trump also felt even momentarily black, and or female, while harboring military sentiments, the base of his appeal could be expanded considerably beyond those with weird hairstyles and a craving for primal scream politics.
In summary, if you’re gonna feel, feel yuuuuuge.

    What do you expect? The GOPe are the Dem Lite, doing its bidding but on a lighter form, for now. Our only true savior is the Tea Party, a grassroots organization.

    It’s been surprising to me that Trump has had to pay so little price for his boasting, but this undeclared military strike might (and should) cost him something.

    By way of digging deeper, Trump has now come out with a boorish public insult of Carly Fiorina’s looks. That ought to keep him busy explaining for awhile. We should cut him some slack, though, considering how his great looks required his family to put him into military school in order to keep him safe from the amorous attention of beautiful girls.

    Had Trump not struggled so hard to get deferments he might not have needed to make a boast so stupid. Let’s see… three altogether, wasn’t it?
