Because Fedoras Are Sexy: Ed Driscoll Has a ‘Hot American-Cuban Wife’

He reveals this by way of pushing back at this fear-mongering outburst by Cynthia Tucker:
Our long, hot summer needed another ingredient to induce a fever-like madness in the national psyche: demographic change. Over the last year and a half, many Americans have begun to see a deeper message in President Obama’s inauguration — the end of the white majority. For some, especially those who are middle-aged and older, it’s a jarring and unwelcome message.
Yeah, I was just saying the same thing to my hot American-Cuban wife – thinking about how them for’ners has got me all riled up, by cracky. . . .
But Cynthia wants to make sure that you know that just because she is calling you a racist doesn’t mean that she thinks you’re a racist, though you most certainly are a racist. . . .
Ms. Tucker previously aired her nonsensical claims on The Weekly Chris Matthews Show Nobody Actually Watches, so that’s kind of old news. But this is the first time our friend Ed has called our attention to the hotness of Mrs. Driscoll.
We demand photographic proof, Ed. A bikini shot, at least, although lingerie would be acceptable.

Well, I can give you textual proof…that you’ve quoted in your post from the block of Kurt Schlichter’s article at Big Journalism that I was quoting in my post.
Hopefully Kurt will offer the photographic proof you’re requesting!

Hey, that’s something I have in common with Ed Driscoll. I’m a racist, too, because I have a hot, American-Mexican husband!

I hear they have mail order catalogs for hot ethnic wives.

This is a typical response to leftist racism-baiting, and it doesn’t work, because the answer is always “Are too!” The only appropriate response is “I hope I can disagree with a liberal without being called a racist, very poor non-arguement that it, but if that’s all you’ve got go ahead, I’m sure people can see that for what it is.”

Sounds like me.
My dear wife is half Native-American. My kids are 1/4 Native American. My Grandsons are 1/4 Native American. (Yeah. Their Daddy is also.)
But they all consider themselves to be non-hyphenated. The only WASP in the whole nest is the only one who even mentions it.
And, as I’m fond of pointing out, I may kill you, but I won’t eat you. My kids and grandkids, however? They have anthropothagic traits a lot closer than I do. Don’t bet that they won’t eat you, if it comes to that.
I don’t promise I won’t help them cook someone, though, if they need it.
Hey. It’s a Cultural thing. How can I possibly object to them pursuing their Racial Heritage?

Anthropophagic. I done misspelled it.
Bummer, that.

I don’t understand why it’s considered so irrational for white people to be concerned about becoming a minority. Has that ever historically turned out well for a people? If 50 million white people flooded into South Korea uninvited and demanded welfare, voting privileges, and citizenship for their abundant offspring, would it be “racist” for the South Korean people to oppose that?

“my hot American-Cuban wife”
He has a wife born in USA who is now a Cuban citizen? What a dolt.
“We demand photographic proof, Ed. ”
I would like see what in that world is that animal too.

“I don’t understand why it’s considered so irrational for white people to be concerned about becoming a minority. ”
Because whites are still the majority minority, mororn. I can understand in your
black andwhite world view there are only whites and non-whites.” If 50 million white people flooded into South Korea uninvited and demanded welfare, voting privileges, and citizenship for their abundant offspring, would it be “racist” for the South Korean people to oppose that?”
I’m sure there are tens of millions of eastern european whites willing to flood into the USA, but i’m not sure whites like you would love it. Same as there are hundreds of millions of Asians, africans and latin americans willing to flood the US ina week’s notice but i’m also sure non-whites in the US are not waiting with open arms.
Enogh with your stupid and misleading analogies about the migration reform debate in the Us. Now go get a brain.
September 7th, 2010 @ 10:53 pm
“the immigration reform debate in the US”, of course.

Nice non sequitur replies, waylay. I guess that’s all you can do when your position is indefensible.
September 8th, 2010 @ 9:35 am
Again, waylay quickly insults the intelligence of people with whom he disagrees, rather than actually engaging in civil debate.
Look, waylay, let me educate you about what’s going on in America. There is a strong movement for reparations for slavery. There’s evidence that whites are discriminated against in the college admissions process. There’s affirmative actions programmes that are growing, not decreasing, in number as our society becomes more egalitarian. What whites and the privileged were more than happy to do for a small, recently oppressed minority is not what they are willing to do for a plurality of oppressed-in-someone-else’s-lifetime people.
Also, let me know how racial integration works in your precious India, waylay. Last time I checked, people who are the most strident opponents of the American right are the first to live in the most racially uniform areas.
September 8th, 2010 @ 5:58 pm
waylay as usual goes straight to the race-baiting
September 8th, 2010 @ 7:02 pm
Wowwaylay you’re more irrational than Pelosi!
