Jimmie Bise calls this process “clearing the browser tabs.” Just some things I saw in the past day or so and wanted to link:
- “Indefatigable bl0g goddess” Pat Austin enjoys her revenge.
- Jay Haug at American Thinker: “Liberal Excuses for Conservative Victory,” including that timeless evergreen, “We didn’t get our message out!”
- An interesting profile of Betsy Rothstein of Fishbowl DC, the Washington media-gossip site. There are many people who despise Rothstein, but you probably also hate most of the people who hate her, so there’s no point trying to convince you how evil she actually is.
- Does Anyone Recall MSNBC Reporting the Fed Bailout of GE? Yeah, I’m sure we all remember when Jeffrey Immelt was Keith Olbermann’s “Worst Person in the World.”
- House Democrats applaud passage of Nancy Pelosi’s plan to increase taxes on “the rich,” most of whom are not nearly as rich as Nancy Pelosi. But remember the silver lining: (a) Mitch McConnell says he’s got 42 Senate votes to stop this mess, and (b) as many as 1,800 Democratic congressional staffers are just a few weeks away from unemployment.
- The Republican Party can’t win without the support of Palin supporters.
- Ace of Spades is back from blog hiatus. He links to an amazing story: “My Wonderful Black Son Was Slapped by a White Teacher at Martin Luther King, Jr., Elementary School in the Kansas City, Missouri, School District.” If Lisa Henry Bowen didn’t exist, David Duke would have to invent her.
- Julian Assange, info-terrorist.
