Crowder: ‘They Hate Capitalism. But They Love Weed

Steven Crowder is slightly more serious in his Fox News contributor role. Here, he is trying to point out that opposition to Wall Street fat cats is a point of common ground between Tea Parties and #OWS.
The fact Crowder brings up about union contributions over time is new to me. Have we hated unions enough? Again, private sector unions are no more, or less, evil than corporations, with the difference being that unions don’t exactly produce anything.

    Actually unions produce bullshit.

Not useful bullshit, which you can compost.  But rhetorical bullshit which really doesn’t have any actual value beyond it’s ability to fool people into handing over more money to the unions.

I think the most agitating part is the website and giving.  I know I’ve been at least twice to try and give the Cain campaign money and both times their giving links fell dead.  Really?  I mean of all things you’d think would be the most bulletproof, you’d think it’d be the donation part.  Of all the monies received, how much do you think has been lost because of such shoddy work?  Again, it’s not 1995 with the biggest decision being to design a site for netscape or the new internet explorer 1.0.  I realize that there is a vetting type of process, but there are probably well over 1000 decent designers who would LOVE to do a site like this for FREE.  With unemployment the way it is, I’m sure there are many who could come along and pretty much work for room and board.

Not to mention there should be at a minimum 5 different bloggers who have been proven a friend of the campaign who can get out inside information right away.  Is it really too much to have a little conference call with a few guys who are sympathetic to your movement?  Mark Block has a LOT of miscues.  I’ll admit that I’m starting to question why he’s there.

I have a feeling these OWS include a lot of folks who like to smoke your weed but don’t necessarily have any of their own.  Somethings never change.

When they’re a relic of a corrupt, bygone era; then there will exist a metaphysical “enough”. Until then; hate like there’s no tomorrow.

The biggest problem with private sector unions is the special privileges given to them under the law. If a bunch of employees want to band together as a group and have a representative negotiate on their behalf, fine, no problem. However, if an employer decides that he doesn’t care to negotiate with their representative, or with anyone representing the group as a whole, that should be his prerogative. He should be able to say, “No, I will only negotiate with each of you one on one. For those that are unsatisfied with that arrangement, you can seek employment elsewhere.” Unfortunately, the law prohibits him from taking that position.

I think if things do not change, Herman will NOT be the nominee or even on the VP short list.

That is the evil that must be undone.

Crowder is a favorite of mine. Smart and his wit is unmatched. I’d love to see him and Bill Whittle do a duet.
