And, instantly, becomes more important than “warmly conformly” Meghan McCain. See, Meghan: if you show some moral courage, despite life’s adversities, you too could eventually be worthy of respect.

And, with her first post, scores a direct hit.

If she had been top harpoonist on the Pequod, Moby Dick would have been mounted over Ahab’s fireplace.

Since Axelrod politically incorrectly invoked a “Mittzkreig”  in Illinois, would it be wrong to say Obama’s attack accusing Republicans of a “war on women” has pretty much turned out to be a “Pickett’s Charge”?

Gotta admit, I haven’t thought much of Bristol — but kudos to her; this is one on target zinger.

One could say that.  Especially since the Democrats favored the South back during the Civil War.

Actually, it’s an insult to Pickett and his division. Pickett’s boys showed great courage in their charge. The Obummer, by all lights, is pretty much cowardly, as are all of his actions.

I clicked through out of curiosity. She’s well over 1000 responses so far. How many does Maggie McCain get? Probably not a tithe of that, if she’s lucky.

Maggie is simply too self absorbed for her own good, but this bunch already knows that.

I was thinking more of Lee’s stupid decision to proceed with the attack in view of the known situation.    Certainly Pickett and his troops were brave and capable troops, and I meant no disrespect.

All the responses Meghan McCain gets are from media types and cosmetic surgeons.

That’s as may be, but the action was still ill-advised, poorly thought out and doomed from the start, like Obama’s “war on women” charge. And, hopefully, it will so damage him he ends up losing the “war”.

    Thanks for the link, Admiral.

Miss Palin’s post gives one hope that she has some of her Ma in her [but, why o why the Lifetime show?].

I’m guessing she got a nice tidy sum for the show, plus the opportunity to give people the opportunity to get to know the real her, somewhat.

  18. Roxeanne de Luca

Probably because her baby’s father is a good-for-nothing publicity hound who has done everything possible to undermine Bristol’s ability to provide for Trigg, and the Lifetime show would help her to make ends meet and put her baby through college.

  20. Theresa 'Darklady' Reed
    March 20th, 2012 @ 4:22 pm

    Not at all.

There is a clear “war on women” and we’re not going to stand for it. The GOP is going to be left crying in the rain in November.

  21. Theresa 'Darklady' Reed
    March 20th, 2012 @ 4:23 pm

You need to learn a bit more about history and how political parties change. The Democratic party changed a lot after the civil war and the GOP inherited most of its bigots.

    March 20th, 2012 @ 4:24 pm

I’d love to hear you gentlemen explain to me how repeatedly focusing on women’s reproductive issues instead of jobs is not a “war on women?”

Are you guys gay, celibate or just not real interested in the health of the women you have sex with?

  23. Theresa 'Darklady' Reed
    March 20th, 2012 @ 4:25 pm

And she didn’t write it. Thank Nancy French, her ghostwriter.

Even then, it’s just another example of a Palin glomming onto someone else’s troubles and trying to play the victim.

Really? Does Levi have a reality show starring his son? Did Levi have a failed reality show … starring her son… while in LA? Did Levi go on Dancing with the Stars?

Levi rarely makes a media appearance. He also pays Bristol $1750/month… and that money is in addition to the huge bucks she’s made from her reality TV and magazine cover work.
Bristol talked smack about Levi constantly in her book (which sold all of 200 copies), while Levi spoke quite affectionately about Bristol in his equally unimpressive book.

Levi had a chance at a real hockey career before Sarah dragged him onto the international stage and then threw him under the bus.

Meanwhile, Bristol keeps Tripp away from his aunt and father as much as possible.
Yeah, that evil Levi and that poor, helpless, struggling Bristol.

I don’t know what “we” you are talking about, but polls show Rick Santorum’s approval up with women, while Obambi’s is going down since the democrats started their “war on women” whinging. Looks like they are “not going to stand” for obama’s pandering and most women have figured out democrat condescension doesn’t really help women, any more than it does minorities they’ve tried to keep on the plantation.

If Levi Johnston were good enough for the NHL, he’d be there. If he were good enough for the minors, he’d be there. He might be better known for doing a striptease on ice like Ned Braden in “Slap Shot” than for his box-score lines, but he’d be there. Instead he’s…I have no idea what he’s doing. He’s sort of like the Spencer Pratt of politics. Which now means he was big a few years ago, but nobody really knows what he’s currently doing. And even fewer care.

The Democrats changed after the Civil War?  I do believe it’s you that needs to brush up on your historical facts Ms. Reed:

When Bull Connor directed that dogs and firehoses be used on peaceful civil rights protesters in Alabama he was the Birmingham Commissioner of Public Safety and a Democrat.
George Wallace was a Democrat and the Governor of Alabama when he stood in the schoolhouse door to prevent African American children from attending. And when Robert “Sheets” Byrd,  finally died Secretary of State and former Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), and former Sens. Tom Daschle (D-ND) turned out to see the Klansman off.The 1968 Civil Rights Act would have failed without Republican votes as a number of senior Democratic Senators voted against it, including Fritz Hollings(D-SC), J. William Fulbright (D-AR and Bill Clinton’s mentor), Albert Gore, Sr. (D-TN and father of Vice President Al Gore), Sam Ervin of D-NC and of Watergate fame) and the aforementioned and  legendary Robert C. “Kleagle” Byrd (D-WV).The earlier 1957 Civil Rights Act was quashed by Senator Lyndon Baines Johnson (D-TX and later VP and President)Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black, Klansman, was appointed to the Supreme court by Democrat President Franklin Roosevelt.Democrat Congressman Dick Gephart (D-MO) regularly asked for money and endorsements from the white supremacist organization Metro South Citizens Council. The Jim Crow laws of the post-Reconstruction South were written and enforced by Democrat politicians.  Lest ye think this is strictly a flyover state problem do note that the Democrat National Convention of 1924 was host to one of the largest Klan gatherings in American history, IN NEW YORK CITY.The left likes to trumpet that Democrat Harry Truman desegregated the U.S. military but really don’t want to talk about who segregated it in the first place – Democrat President and former Harvard University president Woodrow Wilson.Democrats have always and continue to be some of the most vile racists in this country.  They’re just better liars.
