To Allen West At CPAC2013: ‘Is The Base Too Strident In Criticism Of Boehner?’

Pete “Da Tech Guy” Ingemi and I enjoyed dinner with Allen West and his gracious wife last night at CPAC. You possibly could’ve, too, if you were at CPAC, and on the email list for Next Generation TV, which you should do right now.

What a great American. Looking forward to hearing this lion roar in 2014.

Update: more on the evening from Da Tech Guy.

No, just the opposite. Boehner needs to grow a pair and do his job…not just go along to get along…

I think that the real problem is that the GOP leadership in Congress hasn’t the moral courage to do what is right, and to stand by the principles of the party. Instead, they go through the motions and then surrender to the Dem’s…thereby screwinng the country up even worse.

The base has the right idea in regards to Boehner, even if all the sentiment isn’t expressed in the most elegant manner.

I almost thought Boehner was actually trying and that anyone in his position would be having the same difficulty. But I don’t think that any more. I think he’s a Progressive and a member of the GOP elitist club who sees the young, energized freshmen like West, Paul, Lee and Cruz or even the truly conservative veterans like DeMint standing up as a threat. His purging those who wouldn’t walk in lockstep with him from the important committees was no better than what Obama has been accused of. Removing opposition rather than debating the issues. He needs to step aside…..yesterday. Just like Preibus, Boehner needs to look at reality and admit he’s been ineffective at best, destructive to the nation at worst. That’s not love and loyalty for ones country and it’s not leadership. Like Boehner, Graham and John McCain need to go too. We need only the brave and loyal who love this country representing us. Allen West is one of those rare men in my opinion. I’d follow him into battle.

Ugly and accurate trumps stylish and off-the-mark at the range. If only we could get the DC GOP to work the same way.

Well done, Admiral. You showed proper deference even though you outrank Col. West.

Au contraire. They do have moral courage….to oppose you, you all, you people, backwards, reactionary, duck-thinking American (sneer) Constitutionalist$s who because of race hatred oppose the Best President EVAH.

That’s my inner Leftist child who I let out of his padded cell once a month. I’m not sure what duck-thinking means, but it sounded good and thats all that matters…

Remember RAAAAACISM has five A’s, and you’re in flyover country for a reason, so your betters don’t have to see you as they fly past on their way to a Greenhouse Conference in Bali. Because envisioning a better future for all paid for by the evil small business owners and big businessmen who don’t pay tribute to their leaders is HARD. Lots of stress, you wouldn’t believe it. Man, the stress. Two hour days with a break in the middle for some Tequila mixed with Cocaine to take the edge off…its just hard, nose to the grindstone every single day, and do we get gratitude from the little stinking plebes who think with their single digit IQ’s that they can manage things better, why no! I tell ay’…

No, we’re not strident enough. Mr. Boehner is part and parcel of the problems in DC…he’s gone along to get along, that he can’t do anything else. He only pays lipservice to GOP principles…it’s time for him to do his job as leader of the GOP in the House, and start some push back present a budget to the Senate and stop ALL other legislation until the Senate comes to the table…and produces a geniune budget compromise. He won’t do that…more’s the pity.

No they don’t that’s why we’ve had “continuing resolutions” for the past for years…CR’s that have continually increased government spending, and contributed hugely to the Federal debt…with no end in sight.

Opposition to the president isn’t racist…it’s patriotic. Remember Nancy Pelosi said so.

    When did that change?
